Went there today. I have been wanting to try the place, as we live very close by. Atmosphere was not the friendliest. Nobody greeted us at the door, and we kind of just wandered in and sat ourselves after waiting at the door for a minute. The bartenders just stared at us, which felt a bit unwelcoming. Our waitress was nice, but very inexperienced unfortunately. She did not even know what their own special 'Pub sauce' was and had to go ask the manager and was off to the side on her phone a lot. The food prices were average. I am not sure why they don't have the menu on their website? The Fried chicken sandwich ($8) was delicious! Burger was good ($8). Pretzels app was good ($7 but on special for $6). Unfortunately the sandwiches did not come with fries, but instead a rather flavorless, generic side of cole slaw. The Mrs. had a Dirty Blonde 16 oz draft for $3.50, which is well priced. I was disappointed with their mixed drink prices...Crown on the rocks for $9. Jim Beam & coke for $6...A bit expensive for this area, hopefully that is corrected, as there are much cheaper options around. I think I may give them another shot; perhaps during a better time. Overall, I was disappointed with my first experience here. I will not be suggesting this place for a bar night now due to the high liquor pricing, but hopefully soon. I wish only good things for Mug Pub, as it is a local establishment and I want to see...
Read moreWife and I stopped in for some beers and food around 7pm on a Saturday night. We both were impressed by the atmosphere of the bar and the amount of TV's for sporting games. Our waitress (Zena) did an awesome job, she was very nice and polite and she still did manage to check on us on a regular basis in a fully packed bar. Additional we liked that the other floating waitress did stop over along with the owner/manager occasionally just to make sure we were "still good". To sum it up we never had empty beers. We started off with a few pre-dinner draft beers, they came out cold and tasted fresh. However for us it was the food that blew us away. To start we went with chips and salsa to go with our beers. The chips were warm and toasted they were great with the salsa that was provided, but don't forget the pub cheese to go with it too. We devour the plate of chips and was ready too order more because they were that good. So we compromised and ordered the steak tacos that came with chips and salsa, along with getting some garlic parm boneless wings. The tacos and the boneless wings were both really good also, you could tell they had someone in the kitchen that took pride in the food that was coming out.
Wish this place was closer to our home as we would love to make it our new neighborhood bar. However we will be sure to stop again when we are in the...
Read more⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️: 5/5 I met my nephew for lunch today and we sat at the bar, we were waited on by Kira sorry if I misspelled her name. From the minute I sat down she was all smiles and playfully happy. Messin with me in a fun way that made me feel like this sure wasn’t my first time there. I had the I believe it was called “The Jack” burger. I ordered it medium and that’s just how in came. Confirmed by Jackie that it was made with love and confirmed by Kira that it was also delivered with love. As the other patrons laughed at my silliness I began to eat my love burger. No surprise to me it was wonderful. Cooked and delivered to perfections and the quality of the beef was noticeably on a higher playing field. So hats off to the service and the wonderful burger! Though this was my first time here I can surely promise it will NOT be my last!! Thank you so much to Kira for being so laid back and making a happy environment! We will 100% be back for that fish & chips I saw on my way out!! I highly recommend trying this laid back fun bar!! Even the costumers were great! A very...
