Que Pasa is incredible. I was visiting the area for a couple of hours and needed lunch, so we searched for a taco spot. There are a lot in the area, but this was the closest, so we stopped in. I'm so happy we did.
It's a small space and not the prettiest on the outside, but inside is perfect. It can seat maybe 40 people and is very clean. The staff is kind and helpful, without being overwhelming. Everything came out perfectly and exactly as ordered. 10/10 service.
The food, though, is where I'm impressed. We started with queso and the free chips and salsa. All were great. I love the additional sauces they bring with the salsa so you can add your own spice level. We moved on to birria and pastor tacos. Tacos are my thing, like most people, and I've had them from hundreds of places over the years. These are some of the best I've ever had anywhere, definitely top of the list in Michigan. The corn tortillas are incredible and don't get all mushy or fall apart. The meat is tender and seasoned well. Toppings are fresh. Get the consomme. I could have drank it straight. Horchata is really good, too. Jarrito bottled sodas are always nice to have.
Price was good for what you get. We were beyond satisfied, tried many things, and left full. It's a small but mighty menu for a small but mighty place.
I wish I lived closer, so I could visit often, but I'll definitely be back when I'm in the area again. Until then, I'll be dreaming about...
Read moreWalked-in to place a to go order as a new customer. Felt like I was walking into a familiar place in Mexico. It was giving Family Vibes.
Really genuine and kind staff with quick service maybe 10 mins for my order. I got the Torta de Pastor, Tacos Asada and the Brillia ramen. Which I was skeptical about the ramen because for me that hasn't been a part of any of my experience in Mexico.
But let me tell you! That meat in the ramen and the juice, fresh onion and cilantro was so perfect! Was that brisket meat? If so i need tacos de brisket lol
I got the Torta for myself and yummmmm so good! Taste like home. The steak tacos were inhaled by my husband he said 10/10.
I'm not going to lie I did have to take a bite of the rice and beans just to make sure it was legit. They also were so good but I do wish I ate in so I could have tried then hot.
I wasn't a fan of the green sauce they gave me but the red chili is the real deal. And of course the good'ol squeeze of lime on the whole meal was everything. Lol.
Good jobs guys! Finally a good Mexican place I would actually recommend. If I could make a wish....would you make some Chile rellenos with California Chilesand just cheese (they are my #1 favorite) and tamales for Christmas PLEASE!!
Dinner was $35 with...
Read moreQue pasa? Gave three stars today! Let's start with positives: Birria tacos were crisp & juicy Pastor Mulita even crispier and the pastor was well seasoned. Carnita Tacos decently seasoned All sauces very flavorful but the Jalepeno was a favorite. Now for not so positive: Asked for Queso Birrias, barely had cheese and could have filled the tacos a bit more. The Cuban Torta no Bueno the bread was good but the fillings are far from a Cubano type, leave it up to interpretation I guess. Service was altho friendly enough, but they forgot my drink and had to wait to grab their attention or they totally disappeared in the back. Next no authentic Mexican cheeses! Lastly... Please CLEAN/WIPE YOUR DOOR! I will come back another time jus to try the Quesadilla and Pizzadilla, at that time I will update my review. Side note they do tend to have a swift delivery buisness, grubhub is available. I spent $30 on 2 red birria tacos(added Mozzarellacheese), 2 carnita tacos(no cheese), a Cuban Torta, a Pastor Mulita and a Jarrito(Mandarin Flavor). Parking is a lil tricky but...
