If I could put 0, I would. Rude, disgusting woman who works in the front. My car ran out of gas in the lot behind the building. I politely asked a guy where the nearest gas station was, and the guy asked her, and I got the info. Ubered to get there and got my gas. When I returned, I was not able to use the gas can with my "easy fill" tank. I wanted to ask one of the guys if they knew how to use it, but I went around to enter in the front of the store instead of shouting through the back because I figured that would be rude. The woman recognized me and immediately gave me a dirty look before I even said anything. And I again, very politely asked her if one of the guys might know how to use it. With the only customer in the store leaving before I approached, she said with this same disgusting look on her face, I don't know, I can't tell you for sure yes or no, but we're working!! Literally, there was no one in the store at the time or anywhere around in the parking lot. In fact, I think they were about to close. If one of them knew how to use it, it would take a matter of seconds to help. But she just glared at me with that look on her face and didn't even bother turning around to ask them. I absolutely would have spent money to buy some food afterward, but NEVER will I spend my money somewhere that doesn't value the importance of community and helping others or at least answering a polite question...
ย ย ย Read moreUpdating my review. Still 5 star. My wife and I eat here at least once a week. And we take a dinner home at least once a week. My wife is from iraq this is truly iraqi and middle eastern food. Amazing food and it comes out just like it looks in the menu. Their prices are less than their competition and their food is better than their competition. You will see some negative reviews because they are killing their competition with quality and price. My wife and I used to eat at other middle Eastern restaurants around the area and their quality and service have gone down while prices have gone way up. That's why they hate Shwarma Time and are trying to sabotage their business. They now have healthy bowl options that are incredibly low priced. And I highly recommend their whole chicken. My God is that flavor unbelievable. It's one of our favorites in our house. Give them a shot. Their food is fantastic and their restaurant is very clean they're constantly cleaning it. Don't let the negative reviews point you away unfortunately some restataunts can't handle good competition. If my review helped you leave me a comment. I would love to hear from you and see what you say. I am sure you will agree with me how great this...
ย ย ย Read moreOutstanding. Recommended by a friend to try out and I wasn't disappointed. I drove 30 minutes there and 30 minutes home in the snow/ice storm for a what would be normal 10 to 15 minute drive, and was it ever worth it. This is more traditional middle eastern food, not your typical "Kabob ABCDEFC" house, hut, plaza, city... etc. I arrived 10 minutes late, got home 30 minutes later, platter for 2 was still very hot and fresh. The brown rice...not sure what's in it...but it's simply amazing. Not that the yellow rice is bad, it's great...but the brown rice takes the cake. Try it! I have no less than 10 middle eastern restaurants within a 5 mile radius of my house, this is on the outer edge...and this is my new go to. It is worth extra minutes in the car for how good this food is. Kudos...and I wish I would've known about this...
