I was so excited when they opened a First Watch close to my neighborhood, and I have been so pleased to find that the food and atmosphere is phenomenal. I never find myself, friends, or family having to wait nearly as long as I had to at the other location, if at all most days!
The hostesses have always been welcoming and friendly. I find myself becoming a regular and working my way through the menu already! I highly recommend the seasonal items because they are fantastic!
What moved me to finally write this review was a server that just goes above and beyond every time I am there. I have always had a wonderful experience, but on one particular day I wanted to try some new menu items and was going in for a relaxing solo summer brunch. My server Andre, was so professional, attentive, friendly, and helpful. He went out of his way to take the time to help me figure out how to create the seasonal breakfast burrito to my liking without it being overly spicy. He recommended adding chicken over the chorizo, and it was out of this world! Best breakfast burrito I’ve ever had! I also ordered the million dollar bacon and blueberry cornbread that day, which were a deliciously perfect compliment! Andre brought everything out himself and came back to check to make sure that it was to my liking, which it totally was! He was so kind, personable, and friendly. Between the amazing food and the outstanding service, it made my day!
I’ve had Andre as a server a few times now, most recently during a family brunch, and it is always a pleasure. I have never ordered anything off of the menu that I didn’t like, but I’m hooked on the seasonal menu. During this recent family visit I ordered the Pumpkin Pancake, and I have also tried the Blazing Dragon. They were both very delicious and I highly recommend!
I am so thankful to have a restaurant like First Watch in the neighborhood where I can always count on high quality service, outstanding food, and a relaxing atmosphere whether going solo or...

I've been a loyal First Watch patron for years. Unfortunately, my recent visit to this Sterling location was a shocking departure from everything I've come to expect, leaving me utterly frustrated and deeply disappointed.
From the moment we were seated, the experience went downhill. It took 15 minutes to get a waiter to come by and then our waiter did not speak English, leading to immediate communication breakdowns. Despite our clear attempts to order, our drink order was completely ignored and we never received it. This was just a precursor to the main event. When it came time for our food order, the confusion continued. One dish was brought out incorrectly twice. We specifically and emphatically stated "NO FISH" for one of our meals, yet when the plate finally arrived over an hour later the fish option was placed in front of us.
The excessive wait time, combined with the incorrect orders, was simply unacceptable. There was no management present or overseeing operations whatsoever. The usual brisk, well-oiled machine that is First Watch was nowhere to be found.
This particular First Watch location is severely lacking in service, accuracy, and oversight. It was a chaotic and unpleasant meal, and it’s a shame because it truly tarnishes the excellent reputation First Watch has built. I sincerely hope this location addresses these critical issues, as it currently falls far short of the brand's usual...
Read moreOur waitress was probably new, I assume. My drinks didn't come out for 20 minutes (One was a water). She didn't know what came with what so we had to ask the manager (While she was there). The appetizer was brought out at the same time as my meal. My friend's meal didn't arrive for at least five minutes after mine. (No mention of it or why it was late). Portions are definitely American, with the potatoes portions being enormous, and the two eggs scrambled were quite small.(Fine with me). We had to go over the order several times to make sure the waitress would get it right. (She kept asking). I saw her checking with the manager to make sure the check was right. I wasn't asked what kind of toast I wanted and the toast was terrible. (Buttered, but the butter didn't melt) (The bread itself was thick and hard). The person that brought the food out, didn't explain what anything was just threw it on the table and left. I would give it a few weeks before going as it was their first day open. It is definitely not easy to find as a GPS kept saying here, but I didn't see it anywhere and there are no signs. Only by trial and error did I find it. (It's on the other side of the theaters). Turn right at Truest bank and then drive around to the left. Or if you missed that turn, drive around to Panera and then go left and you...
