I gave my van for Oil change and service and the technician mentioned my tires are old and need replacement. Little did I realize it is going to be a Saga. I went to this costco at Price Cascades Plaza for the tires. The experience is absolute worst. I would not recommend this location even to my enemies. I would have given negative stars if allowed. I called before I even made a visit to find the timeline. a lady answered the call with "Please hold for moment" immediately put me on hold. I waited for 7 minutes and no one picked the line. I dialed again, this time some male service person answered and he told me to come right away and the new tires will be installed in about an hour. (the current service ticket no completed is #12(I saw the lady taking the keys, mine is #22). I went to tire service center. there are 2 people in line and I dropped my mini van around 11:30 AM. and the service person told me it will be ready in about one and half hours. I went to costco, shopped around, spent a lot of time and after nearly 2 hours I went in and to my astonishment, the van is still not ready. they said, it will be done in another 20 minutes. I waited outside costco entrance with my stuff in shopping cart for another 30 minutes. An old service person came out and I thought my van is ready. he said there is a valve attachment corrosion and needs replacement. I paid another $47 and asked him how long it will be. he replied it should not take long. After another 30 minutes waiting outside, (more than 3 hours since I first dropped my keys) i walked in around 2:30 PM. There is a lady at the desk and she is so rude and told things take time and there were unexpected delays on some cars. Finally around 3PM, the older gentleman is at desk and I went in and he told car is ready. I reminded it took more than 3 and half hours and he said, he will pull the car to the front. the guy with ticket #21 is still waiting outside. he has the same ill fate. I am thankful that atleast then my van is available. i went to fill gas and started to home. I was about half a mile from home and the dashboard light for Tire pressure started blinking. after few seconds it is turned on and I am not sure what the service people did. either they did not inflate the tires enough or messed up with sensors or installed it incorrectly. I definitely cannot trust the Costco Tire center any more and will be taking it to my local car care center.

Here's what happened: I was checking out and pay money at the self-service station. I know that the rule at Costco is to scan light items yourself and ask an employee for help with heavier items. From the beginning, I told the cashier that I understood the rules. So, I scanned all the light items and placed them on the weighing platform. I had three heavy items left that I needed help with: a case of organic almond milk, a case of organic mango juice, and a large bag of organic potatoes. I asked the cashier, "Can you help me scan the remaining items?" She replied, "You have too many items. Next time, don't use the self-checkout. You should go to a regular checkout lane." I said, "But I scanned all the small items myself. I only need help with the last three heavy items." The cashier, named Magdalena, reluctantly helped me scan the three heavy items and kept saying, "Next time, don't use the self-checkout if you have so many items." I told her, "I’ve been shopping here for four years and have never encountered someone so unfriendly." Magdalena continued to complain, and at first, she didn't let me see her name tag until another person, who seemed to be a manager, came over. After the manager arrived, Magdalena started lying, saying that I asked her to handle all my items. I understood what she was saying and told them it wasn't true, and I requested that Costco review the security footage. I then went to Nick to file a complaint. I'm sorry if my English is not clear, as it is not my first language. Magdalena lied to her manager, and since my English is not very good, I ended up crying in Costco because I was so upset. What she said was not true. My husband is a American. In the five years since I married him, everyone and everything I've encountered has been friendly, kind, sincere, and honest. I really love this country, and similarly, all my experiences at Costco have been pleasant. I feel that everyone there is trustworthy. However, today, a lady treated me rudely and used harsh language, and then she lied. I believe this damages your company's reputation. I hope you will review the surveillance footage and conduct a thorough investigation because every employee's words and actions reflect your company's image.

Well laid out and well-stocked. Quality is average Costco. Employees are a 3 out of 5 (could not understand ANY of the 5 I personally dealt with). And that ends the good: like EVERY Costco, it suffers enormously in crowd control, disability access, number of registers, parking, and the way in which they stock certain items. Crowd control: have two check-ins instead of having a line out to the parking lot just to get in to the store. Have someone expediting and helping people at the registers, space the aisles out slightly more with no building support beams in the middle of them to block access. Disability access: we went through four mobility scooters before i gave up. The worst one that was supposedly fully charged only went 50 feet before dying. Get more and better scooters, there's obviously a need since they were dead all over the store. Number of registers: seriously, it's 2025. Look at what your competitors do and learn from them. Even BJ's handles this better and i thought they were stuck in the 1800's. When the line to check out is as long as a ride at Disney, your doing something very very wrong. Parking: ever Costco I've ever been to (over a dozen) sucks when it comes to parking. Maybe it's time to have valet? When you take your life into your hands just trying to get a spot, it's not worth it (especially given one of your major competitors is less than a mile or so away). Do better. Stocking: i challenge anyone to go into a Costco and find the right size clothing without having to dive and create a mess. People suck, I get that, but is it so hard to have all of your xs, s, m, etc sorted into piles? Maybe if you used shelves with dividers you could do that? They sell those at Sam's. Also, there's no legitimate reason to have stacks of clothes 3 feet high and 4 feet deep. I gave up after 5 minutes of trying to find a shirt.

Horrible Experience If there was Less than Zero Star, I would have given it to Costco Sterling. They proved the opposite of what I thought about them. It happened in their Tire Shop. On a Sunday 05/01/2022 my rear passenger side tire got a big nail in it. It was a big SUV that has its spare paced underneath the rear end of the car. It was placed professionally by Toyota. I decided to take it to Costco since nobody of the merchants I often deal with was open. The manager there suggested to replace the spare tire instead of the damaged one. I agreed. Job was done to my understanding within few hours as I was waiting inside the store. Paid the money. His statement on the Invoice suggested to put back original in 10 days and put back the spare in its original place. The spare is like a normal tire that has full rim and a nice valve. Before the ten days passed, I decided to take my SUV to a tire shop. I bought the tire. Guys there jacked up the car. There was no tire defected underneath my car. They started laughing. of course. I agreed with that. It was funny not to find the tire. Of course, the first thing I did I called Costco. I attempted hardly to speak with the main store manager. I failed. I was completely ignored. I drove there to the Auto Center. The same tire manager and the same guy I saw before were there. They received me with a bad attitude. OH, now What is your problem. I asked them where the tire is. It is not where it is supposed to be. The manager said... It is inside the car. He looked at the car and was completely illiterate where spares usually placed in these types of vehicles. I was very furious. I went inside the store. I saw one of the managers. He suggested to fill out an incident report. I did. He stated that I would be called the following day...Monday. Nobody called. Within the next few days... I kept on calling trying to get hold of somebody. However, I was able to reach the Regional Manager. He had an attitude too. He wanted to wrap up the call. He said, I am not at work, and I will call you next week... (Seven days from today). He said he has family issues. he told me in the beginning that he had seen the Cam footage, then he changed his words to he would watch at the footage when he comes back from his "Vacation". That told me he was lying to me. He had never seen any footage...Well anyhow, the insurance called me afterwards. Information and explanation were displayed to her suggesting the following things that might had happened: A) Tire was not placed at all out of negligence 2. Some worker stole it B) Tire was placed improperly and fell from underneath the car without me realizing that. Of course, could have caused had caused a major accident. C) Tire could have fallen, and somebody took it. D) Tire was stolen somewhere else. That is not possible. E) Somebody faked the footage. I took the car to Toyota today and they checked it out. They stated that the cable was not cut and the jack and roller in great condition but without tire and rim... Costco insurance called me today and stated they they shall DENY my claim. The lady failed to give any explanation even though my justification was crystal clear. I owned that vehicle for over 17 years. Nobody thought of stealing a tire or rim even when the car was brand new. Why would somebody steal it now? I remember that I did make a complaint few years ago about the same manager, and multiple complaints against the same tire guy there. However, I am not sure who worked on my tire at this occasion. I realize very well that those two guys hate me because I complained about them before. Costco damaged one of my tire sensors before. That is why I do not go there except for the extreme emergency.... Late Sunday and nobody is open. The gone rim had no valve except it is useable. It was dirty. blackish color built on it.... It was the big mistake to deal with Costco. I believe Costco, Sterling VA had lost it professionalism and honesty with customers and especiallythe tire Center. On 7/29/2022, Costco Sterling replace all 4 tires with excellent service and team effort. Love tire shop team, note Ms Lesile really experience and knowledgeable about tire. She helped me find the tires just 1,2,3 simple and help me to return the wrong one I ordered online. She is far better than online tire shopping. I input car name and model and still got wrong tire online. For amateur like me maybe best to look for experts at costco tire shop. Love Costco and the best shopping paradise with really piece of mind.

On 11/26/21 and many times at this Sterling costco, Member manager Erick, I received many times excellent courteous and heartfelt services from Erick at membership refund or price adjustment or inquiring products or he is helping everywhere. Erick has been extremely hard working and always enthusiasm and very help whenever he sees shorthand at warehouse. He is so unbelievable fast/efficient and effective. 1.2.3 done and done. I would love to hire Erick if I own my company bigger than costco. He is a true precious asset to Costco and his diligence and work results in for many extremely satisfaction customer and Love Costco to death. Please express my sincerely thanks to Erick and team at Sterling cascade. Do you know if I can buy appliance and electrics and all stuff I won’t buy elsewhere but costco. The trustworthy and courteous and respectful and confidence in delivering customer satisfaction have driven me to like, love and got to buy it at Costco. Recommend highly

On 1/7/2021 update self check out lines at Sterling Costco really provide excellent customer service and they help you to scan the items and they make you feel that they really appreciate your business. Even us self checkout lines staffs in those sections step up their plates and help you fast checkout Staff such as Cesar who helped many times and make me feel comfortable , efficient and safe to visit Sterling Costco. Two thumbs up for self checkout services.

Costco my favorite place on earth and a piece of mind to shop with their iron proof customer satisfaction refund policy. Staff are friendly and always helpful. I bought a lot of 6 tiers racks and they are heavy like hell and their staff kindly help me load to car. Staff are always assisting to you to checkout items even at self checkout.
