If youâre looking for good customer service, I would recommend avoiding this location. I recently had an issue with a return for Cat and Jack items. Some of the items still had tags, but when I tried to return them, the rep suddenly said she couldnât process the return and suggested that someone else could explain.
A man then approached without introducing himself and immediately asked, âHavenât you already been here?â I assured him I had never seen him before and this was my first visit that day. His tone was off, as if he assumed I was a repeat problem.
He then said he needed to call the manager, John, for assistance. When John arrived, he looked at me and asked, âHow can I help?â I replied, âI donât know, I wasnât the one who called you over.â The other man immediately interrupted, saying, âOh, sheâs trying to return Cat and Jack.â John then told me he couldnât process the return because âpeople have been abusing the return policy,â and that no Target should be accepting my items.
I was confused and asked for clarification. He simply said it was policy and that it wasnât new. At this point, I felt uncomfortable and embarrassed to ask any further questions, so I requested the customer service number.
When I called, I spoke with a very understanding and knowledgeable representative who apologized for my experience. They asked about the items I was returning, and I explained the mix of products. Some being purchased the week before. I also mentioned that the manager never even bothered to look at my items before mentioning policy abuse in front of others. The rep issued me a case number and offered to process my return. They were extremely helpful and apologetic unlike the customer service desk at this location, which made me feel like a burden for simply asking...
Read moreHappen to be in the sterling area, and I needed to get some supplies and happened to see a target. When I walked in I said to one of the employees is this the only restroom you have. All of their bathrooms family, male, female we're out of order. She replied in a rather rude tone that yes it was in there was one in the back but it was for employees only. I just shrugged it off got a basket and continued with my shopping. I then proceeded to head toward self check out as I was in rather hurry, and the helper there stated rudely, that one of the registers was out of order. I said to him there isn't a sign on it maybe you should put one there, for people to recognize it. There was one across from it that was out of order as well, that had a sign on it. I then proceeded to just go to another line and the cashier was very rude. I put my items on the belt and put my card in the machine and before the "Please Remove Card" screen came up she said (rudely) you can take it out now. I said that t was not ready. She just rolled her eyes and said whatever. I then got my receipt and headed towards the door. I not being a frequent target shopper, did not know where the handheld baskets were return to. I asked her where I returned them to, and she rolled her eyes and rudely like she hated me replied, have you never shopped at a target before, they go up front near the other baskets. I then simply replied to her you might want to fix your attitude if you want to have more customers. I then walked off and the only nice employee that spoke to me was the guy getting ready to grab carts from the parking lot who said have a nice day ma'am. I will never go to this target ever again. Almost all the employees except the one, we're extremely rude and acted like customers...
Read moreTarget located in the Dulles Town Center area is a great department store for shopping for everyday items to fill the refrigerator, the pantry, for home decor and entertainment needs. Although not my first choice in shopping stores, it is; however, the next best thing - not because the prices of items. It is based on location, location, location. I am closer to another competitor, so my frequency didn't bring me here a lot, but when I'm in the area I have no problem shopping herewhen the opportunity presents itself. The only downside is this particular store is their lack of an automotive section that is fully stocked. My visit brought me here to purchase automotive products, but it was very lacking and I had to go across the road to Advanced Auto Parts, but I have purchased electronic and home decor items, which Target has plenty of and at competitive prices. The grocery section and the clothing sections are okay, with a wide variety of food name brands and known name brand clothing. One of the things that I find defining about Target in general is their logo and abundance of the color RED, which identifies this company advice others. The location does have other benefits in that it is surrounded by eateries and other amenities, which rival other shopping centers. In fact, this shopping center was one of the first shopping centers I came to in Virginia, so I do have a soft spot for this shopping center and if...
