We have had many a pizza from here. We usually get the large cheese to go, take it home and add topping and cook it for another 10 minutes. I have never really liked the crust, seemed too soft and I suspected they came pre-made. The last time I visited my wife and I got a couple slices, dine in. I watched them throw the dough, not pre-made! The crust on the pizza was excellent, nice crunch on the outside but a good tooth on the inside. Crunchy and chewy like a good New York style crust should be. I though they must have changed the recipe or something and asked about it. They were baffled at first but then one guy said, " our slice oven is broken so we heated it up in the pizza oven which is much hotter." Duh! The crust has been fine these last three years, it just has not been cooked hot or long enough. When you order a slice ask them to heat it up in the pizza oven, waaayyy better. I'm mostly a purist when it comes to pizza but they are known for all kinds of toppings on their pizzas so if that's your thing you should be happy. Tried the macaroni and cheese pizza, it was okay, the cheese was very mild, maybe use a couple stronger cheeses? The staff are always nice. Place is a little grungy but not dirty, if you know what I mean.

Reminded us of an "old school" pizza joint! The pizza was really good. They have all different kinds that you can get by the slice. I tried pepperoni and chicken bacon ranch. Hubs tried cheese and Supreme. I didn't love the chicken one, but thats because I didn't like the ranch for sauce. I love red sauce, but I thought I would give it a try. I love the crust and the red sauce. I can't wait to go back and try plain cheese and the garlic knots. I also tried a cannoli, yum! They fill them upon order so the shell is crunchy. The filling was the perfect sweetness. A good cannoli is hard to find in the midwest! I took a star off for atmosphere because it could use a good dusting of the photos and memorabilia on the wall. I loved looking at the pictures though! Also, the bathroom could use a good scrubbing.

I was working in the area and decided to grab some pizza. What I like about this place is they sell pizza by the slice. I ordered the pepperoni and the chicken quesadilla pizza. I also got an order of fries. Everything on the pepperoni pizza was balanced just right. The sauce didn’t overpower the cheese and vice versa. The crust-to-sauce ratio was even. The chicken quesadilla pizza was fabulous, and the toppings all worked great together. The fries were good, nothing special, but they are fries. The service here was excellent! I will be back the next time I’m in town

Just ordered 5-10-23 by phone for a pi k up. We had 4 off menu items with only extra cheese extra roni on a pizza as a fifth. The items ordered was read back to me when I placed the order. My son asked about fries specifically , was told " oh yea there in there..." when he picked up the order. He was given no receipt. He knows he was charged for the item plus he gave the broken arm girl a tip besides ! When called about the screw up same girl that took the order answered the call . She said it was never on the bill and whomever in charge said it was there mistake but since we were not charged it was just an" our bad, sorry" situation. He offered to make us fries if we wanted to run back to get them. We specifically ordered for pick up because the food and service is usually good and we needed to get something in our travels to get other things in our day tended to. We ordered her because it was. On our way to another nearby stop we had. We live more than 6-7 miles away and it just is not worth the aggrevation to run twice to get french fries. The fact that the main access road was blocked by construction was just another insult, besides all the other road work obstacl that had to be driven through. We are just very disappointed and saddened by the service today and the staff disregard to just do the jobs adequately. We will go to a competitor when we get the desire for...

This is the ORIGINAL Polito's!! The location in my town closed, and I've been CRAVING their Mac & Cheese Pizza. While in Point recently I was excited to be able to get it! Located downtown. Cute area. Parallel parking in front of the store, left side on Main St. Angled parking stalls on the right. No issues finding parking on a Thurs at 8pm. Pizza by the (big) slice. Full pies also available. After you select the variety you want (prob 10 - 12 kinds to choose from) they'll bake it a few more minutes to get it melty and crispy! We each got 2 slices, ate one, and took a slice home. Garlic Knots were good (4 are a half order). We each ate one and took one home. Had 2 large sodas. $24 pre tip: 2 people (4 servings total with leftovers). Service was easy going and friendly. We asked for a soda refill, and the young lady was pleasant. Staff was cleaning tables, emptying trash and tidying up as we were there. The beverage cooler had been restocked while we were eating. Our table had been cleaned before we sat down. Polito's is consistently tasty, affordable pizza, that's pretty much "fast food" because there's very little wait time. It's a...
