Easily the worst experience I've ever had at a fast food location. Me and 2 friends walked in around 7:30 PM, and, due to a lack of competent workers, left over an hour later at 8:33 PM. We entered expecting a quick and cheap meal; instead, what we believed should be fast and easy quickly became a major headache. My first friend, who ordered through his app using his points, got a double quarter pounder with cheese. He couldn't order fries with it in the app, which was not so much of a problem with the location or workers, but our misunderstanding of the app. Nonetheless, it added to our frustration. With a second order, he got a large fry using his points. This is where our problems started. What should have been as simple as a worker grabbing fries off of the rack and calling a number resulted in us waiting roughly 35 minutes for the workers to finally hand us our fries. This process involved us notifying two different workers, who both walked over to talk to their employees about things that didn't concern our order or other's orders. While my friend and I waited for our fries, my second friend got his order, which came with cold, stale fries. My first friend ordered one last thing while we were waiting on our fries. Since he used money instead of points to order this last part of our meal, it came out faster, albeit still slower than it should have. The final order involved a medium frappe. It was clearly listed on the receipt for this order. My friend received the bag with his food, but not the frappe. We could see the frappe behind the counter, but no worker made an effort to give it to us. Instead, we waited almost 20 minutes for a melted mocha frappe that was altogether unsatisfying simply due to lack of worker competence. My friends and I wasted over an hour of our day in this establishment for unsatisfactory food and absolutely no apologies from workers. I ordered my usual double cheeseburger with Big Mac sauce and lettuce, but I noticed that it was rung up differently. When I asked the young man at the first window if he got my order right, he assured me he did, apologizing for being new and unsure of his responsibilities. Despite his politeness, my order was still incorrect when I checked it, with cold fries.
I then approached the manager at the second window, requesting fresh fries and a correctly made burger. His attitude was dismissive as he rolled his eyes, leaving me waiting for at least 10 minutes before returning with a burger and only two fries. Upon reaching home, I found my burger to be still incorrect and sloppily made. To add to the frustration, my daughter's burger was overloaded with salt and pepper, rendering it inedible, and my nuggets were both cold and stale.
When I went back to request a refund, the manager reacted defensively, claiming my concerns were exaggerated due to their understaffing issues. Sometimes I grab a small cheeseburger and small fries. McDonald's fries used to be delicious many years ago, but since the vegans complained about the frying oil that supposedly had beef in it, the fries just aren't the same. If they're not hot and straight out of the fryer, they tend to get kinda tough. This goes for all McDonald's, not just this one. So a small order of fries suffices.
I do really like the crispy fried chicken sandwich that has lettuce and tomatoes on it.
Staff here have been pretty friendly for the most part. Complaints that family members have mentioned are how frequently the frappe machine doesn't work and how frequently the icecream and milkshake machines aren't working.
