Stillwater History Museum at the Sheerar — Attraction in Stillwater

This is a great little museum that gives visitors a varied view of Stillwater history, ranging from its founding, its growth through Oklahoma State University, and the commercial growth. The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful.

While there is no admission charge, they do recommend a $5 donation. There is also a small gift area with a good mix of books...

This is a wonderful museum right here in our backyard. The amount of history of Stillwater and Payne County is put on display very well. They also sell several historically pertinent books by oklahoma authors including books on the history of Stillwater and the surrounding area. This is a really nice museum that people should take...

Pleasant polite people working there the atmosphere is wonderfu, there is this place for every time frame in history that I can think they have wonderful displays one full information it's just a really great time if you have a little time you want to spend 30 minutes an hour you should go...
