Garden Party Florist — Local services in Stillwater

I was so disappointed with Garden Party and the experience I had with them for my wedding. I worked with Brian via email for months and was told he understood my design ideas, so I was shocked when I arrived the day before my wedding to the flowers they had created. There was so much wrong, so I’ll try and summarize.

I had told them minimal pink and walked in to what looked like an “it’s a girl!” baby shower flowers. I asked the lady (as Brian wasn’t there) to take all the pink flowers out of my bouquet (except one) and replace with white like I had asked for. She grabbed a print off that Brian had created for me and she said “this looks pink to me” which she was correct, it was pink, but if she had seen/been on the emails she would have known my response to Brian of the pdf arrangement was I said “way less pink”. She did change my pink flowers with white roses- which I accepted as there were no alternatives- but was funny considering I had also said no roses in my emails.

Additionally, I had brought low bowls in months prior for them to use for my featured table flowers- which were to be standing in heavy flower frogs inside the bowls. Instead of this, the flowers were place in chicken wire with pieces of thin scotch tape connecting the wire to the bowl. How they believed that was supposed to stay upright is beyond me- they all fell over before I had even left the shop- and I had to make a hobby lobby stop the morning of my wedding to buy rocks to keep the flowers upright for the reception. I won’t even go into how different this arrangement looked compared to what I had sent inspo photos of but rest assured- night and day.

I wish Brian had actually made the bouquet/Bud vase/flower frog arrangements considering he was the only person I had communicated with over the past half year. It was pretty obvious the lady who made my flowers wasn’t connected at all to what my vision was- which makes sense considering she hadn’t spoken one word to me about my vision prior to me showing up at Garden Party to my flower fiasco.

All in all! This was my least preferred vendor...

“You guys did amazing. I had placed an online order with another company and they fell through so I was super stressed and panicking because I really needed these flowers delivered that day. I called and Nathan answered the phone and helped. He was very patient and had amazing customer service. He suggested I look online and choose what I wanted and call him back to complete order. Well I looked and didnt see "exactly" what I had in mind/envisioned. Called Nathan back, explained my vision and man did he hear literally everything I said and he executed it PERFECTLY. Flowers were delivered within a few hours and the recipient was beyond moved and touched. Her family (and the place of business where she was staying and it was delivered to) raved about how beautiful the arrangement was and how fresh the flowers looked and smelled! Great work, quality, delivery time, and exceptional customer service. Thank you to Nathan (and whoever else had a hand in it - I was told Drake did the actual flower arrangement) for saving the day and bringing a smile to the recipient and everyone who saw the flowers. This was a special fun time w/her event happening but also a sad remembrance time due to it being 1 yr mark of losing someone she loved dearly. So thank you again for the help, attention to detail, compassion, patience, and amazing customer service. Yall ROCK!!! Love from a customer from many many...

I want to commend Garden Party Florist on the absolutely beautiful job they did on the bouquet of flowers for my sister's funeral. My brother and three sister's lost our wonderful sister on Friday, July 9th, 2021. Her funeral was on Monday, July 12th, 2021. I emailed Garden Party Florist around 4:30pm Sat. after their shop had closed for the day and Brian emailed me right back. He said he would call me on Sun. morning to see what we could come up with. He did call me on Sunday morning just as he said he would. He went into their florist shop on his day off when they were closed and made the most BEAUTIFUL basket of flowers for my sister's funeral from all her siblings. Plus he delivered the flowers to the funeral home! I can't thank Garden Party Florist and Brian for everything they have done for our family. He also made another vase of flowers for my kids to their aunt for her funeral. So he made TWO bouquets of flowers actually on his day off when their shop was closed! You all are the BEST floral shop in Stillwater, OK in my opinion! No other shop would have done this for us and the prices were outstanding! Thank you so very much Brian!
