Good food weird uncomfortable service. Dec 2nd Ordered for pickup, pulled in 5 min early to have an elderly gentlemen come around/out of the bushes and stare at me through my window for at least 5-10 seconds and walk into perkins vary akwardly, visibly aggitated. I had kids in the car and we were all put in a defensive mode unsure why he targeted us. Mace ready in hand, I told them to lock the doors and I'll be righ back. Heading into Perkins, he was behind the counter, visibly upset and saying no one talks anymore. He was mad I did not talk to him outside, and told me, we are closed! I had no idea considering this was not addressed when ordering on the phone and I was there early per their arrival request. It was a vary uncomfortable situation and I felt like I walked into something I was not prepared for simply picking up my food. I advised him it was weird that he walked out of the bushes, up to my window and he just stared at us; I have kids in the car. He never apologized, He threw my receipts at me. Why was he at my car window anyways, I still needed to come in and pay. I've never had something like this happen before and I will never buy food or anything from this restaurant again. Creeper working at Perkins, no badge indicating he was employed there or perkins logo attire. I'm ok with avoiding this...
Read moreI received an email from the MYPERKINS email club offering a free slice of pie with any entree, so I decided to stop in for lunch. But unfortunately, as the waitress explained, this particular Perkins does not participate in the Free Pie Monday deal. Which is ok, I understand they are not obligated to participate. But I noticed on my receipt an advertisement promoting the email club specials. So I politely asked to speak to the Manager. The owner/ Manager Greg Daigle was quite rude and defensive about the whole situation. He stated it was disrespectful of me to waste his time and question the restaurant policies. I simply wanted to point out that advertising the email club on their receipts implies that they actually participate in the email offers that are sent out. But apparently this manager wants to pick and choose which offers he will accept. The restaurant was clean and modern, the food was good, and the waitress was polite. But the Manager Greg Daigle was deliberately rude and...
Read morePerception is everything, I suppose. This was a place where I went with my partner & felt what I can only describe as a micro-aggression from the start from the manager who did not even deign to greet us. I'd have dismissed this behavior, except that he repeated this micro-aggression when we left, declining to thank us for our business or even acknowledging our presence. My partner got a cheeseburger & onion rings. I got one of the 55+ offerings, a chicken breast with two sides: asparagus and a house salad. I ate the salad and was about to have the chicken & asparagus when I noticed a long hair on the place. Gross. This occurred when the server came by and asked if everything was OK, to which I replied, "no." She took the plate away and got me a new one. About that chicken breast: it was the smallest serving of chicken breast I'd ever been given in a restaurant, maybe 1.5" by 1.5" or so., and there were maybe 5 thin spears of asparagus. The salad was...
