Noodles and Company — Restaurant in Oak Park Heights

I came to this location for lunch today. I had the choice between Chipotle, which had a line of about 20 people and Noodles which had a line of 0 people. I chose the No-Line. I help the door open for a woman and her child on the way in so it wound up being a line of 1. The woman was ordering a lot with specific instructions which was taking a while. I totally understand this and have no complaint about it. But after she had been ordering for about 10 minutes The phone rings and one of the other employees answers it and takes their phone order (i am still the only other person in line). Then a couple minutes later they take another phone order. I'm still waiting. After 17 minutes (no lie) the woman finishes her order and as i walk up the phone rings and she takes that order ahead of mine. I asked if after waiting in line for 20 minutes I would also have to wait behind the 3 phone orders that came in after me. When told I would I left and did not order, and will not ever be returning to this location. I left and went to Chipotle which now had no one in line. I had my food 2...

Disappointed. My kids love to go to Noodles & Co., but the last couple visits will stop me from coming back. Today my oldest daughter and I stopped in for a quick lunch. It wasn’t busy. They brought the food quickly, but we both kind of laughed at first because our plates had such a small portion of noodles on them. I asked if they had split the order. They said no. They also forgot the chicken on mine so they took mine back and brought it right back so I suspect what was tossed on top of my side of noodles was microwaved chicken. It was very rubbery. The server told me the chef said the portions were normal yet my toddler gets more in a kids meal. I NEVER write reviews, but when the server agrees the portions looked wrong and the chef ignores the issue I have to say I’m disappointed and that’s a quick way to not get repeat business. This place has gone down hill so much in the last year but today was the worst. We typically order the exact same thing every time we go and the cashier never understands what we’re saying. It’s a different person every time. I wanted my food as a meal (entree choice, side salad, fountain drink) and she says “we don’t do that here” then I repeated what I had gotten in the past and always have and she says “so you want to make it a meal” GIRL THATS WHAT I’VE BEEN SAYING! So we FINALLY finish ordering and we order to dine in and they box everything up to go. Whatever we left! Get home and the Caesar dressing for my salad tastes so horribly of fish that I couldn’t even eat it.
