We weren’t sure who our server was. After sitting there about 10 minutes, we finally awkwardly asked about giving someone our order. The girl turns and points to a young man that was walking by, and says, “him.” He brought us drinks, but we didn’t see him again until we asked to pay. Requested silverware from the person who brought us food. Asked for someone to get us refills. She was nice. Asked for someone to give us our ticket. She was nice. As she is bringing the ticket to the table, the guy who took our order showed up again. It was wild how he magically appeared at the end. He seemed like a nice kid & maybe it was his first day? People that came in while we were waiting, left when we did. We compared our stories…they had him as their server too. It was wild man.
UPDATE: So today it’s been a couple of months or so since I wrote this review and today we thought we’d give them another chance. Hahaha! My husband and I walked in about 3pm and stood at the door waiting to be seated. There were 4 employees that walked through and only one of them was helping a customer. Nobody said a word to us. They didn’t look at us to even acknowledge us. (There was only one table with people eating.) Finally, we gave up and just turned around to leave. No one even said, “Hey, don’t leave. Sorry about that. Kiss my hiney.”...
Read moreYuck! Don't go here, Cherokee Street BBQ is just down the road and is fairly decent, and less expensive, but it was closed on labor day. I ordered the 3-meat combo with potato salad and okra to go. Chopped brisket was oily - soaked in oil, never had oily brisket before, won't eat it again. Pulled pork was not very pulled, and had not really been warmed up since it was cooked - I'm not sure an actual BBQ or smoker was involved in its preparation. "Smoked" sausage did not taste smoky at all, but was dyed a deep red color. Potato salad was nasty with flavor hints of decay, you can buy better stuff in a giant tub at walmart. Is it really too hard to make you own potato salad in house? House barbecue sauce proudly features high fructose corn syrup at the top of the ingredients list, and at least 3 types of "natural flavor", meaning additives synthesized in the lab to resemble something found in nature.
I would say this place is the McDonalds of BBQ - but it doesn't even deserve that title. I've had Dickey's in the DFW airport that was much better than this, plus at $17 for 3 meats and 2 sides with tax this is certainly not fast food pricing. I am regretting today that I was hungry last night and ate most of it. I am paying for it today with...
Read moreThis was one out of two of the worst experiences that we have had at rib crib. The food was very overdone . Baked potatoes was hours and hours old. The skin was black and wrinkled, potatoes inside was dark brown. Baked beans were cold and stuck like paste. When my husband called to speak to the manager she was very condescending and rude stated she knew the food was bad and she didn't know what was going on in that kitchen. Said several.times she knew food they was sending out was poor quality and then when we explained our take out experience is always bad but dine in is good her words were " well lady maybe you should bring yourself in here and dine in " I will never eat here or recommend them again.Nor will I order anything from here for my employees to eat. Extremely rude manager . Maybe this is why your parking lot is always empty. I feel sorry for the owner . You are definitely going to start seeing a down slide in profits of everyone is treated this way and it's ok for your staff to send out poor quality.Keep using canned responses to bad reviews. That will...
