If I could put zero stars for this particular issue, I would. Very disappointed in the employees including the store manager at this Stillwater location for my most recent purchase. I tried to reserve a collectors edition of a game that was apparently pretty popular, and for WEEKS kept calling, leaving contact information MULTIPLE times with the store manager herself ( it kept getting lost), checking the app for availability...trying to reserve the game, or get ahold of one once they came in. When I reserved the game, and paid it in full at that time, I was told that there was only ONE on reserve and the employee told me he was wanting one himself, then today when we went to finalize our reservation, we were told there were THREE on reserve, when we never received a phone call from the store manager, nor were we told it was available the MANY times we called, or came by to check on it. I understand the availability issue of the game, but it was very clear, the employees, were the ones that got those reservations, as the employees were joking about it when I went to pick up my reservation today saying "sorry Kayla(the claimed store manager)... we gave yours away, haha"* they also released the game BEFORE 9p.m......Don't know if that permission was given, but I know there are issues with that as well... like i said, very disappointed, unhappy with my current store that i have been going to and loyal to for over 10 years! I feel very strongly that some shady stuff went down, and instead of offering good customer service and calling the customers asking about the game, the store manager chose to LIE that none were available, and kept it for herself and possibly other employees instead!! I plan on posting this anywhere i can, so some awareness might be brought to the shadiness of who is running the...
Read moreAlways willing to help you with what you need, almost always knowledgeable and if the associate you're dealing with isnt knowledgeable on a specific topic there's usually someone else working with them that almost always ends up being knowledgeable about that topic. Fair pricing, vast selection for a game store, power up rewards pay off very well for loyal customers, only downfall is trade in pricing. If you're not in a hurry to sell your console or games I recommend selling it yourself privately, they give you approximately half of the face value, sometimes not even half, of what the item(s) you bring in are worth. The only fair trade in pricing you'll get is if it's brand new for example the newest game that waa just released within the past 6 months should be a little over or under half of it's original value depending on popularity. Trade in pricing is basically like a pawn shop, they have to sell it used, even though they will still mark the price up on their end when the resell it. I highly recommend them for anything gaming you're looking for, unless it's a game you would like to keep indefinitely, the quickest and easiest way to do that would be digitally, however hard copies download much faster depending on your internet. I highly recommend GameStop above all other game stores for purchases, warranties, and knowledge...
Read more12/21 I have recorded your employee putting me on hold for 20 minutes and then hanging up. I called for information on an Xbox series X. He did not call back. He was planning on holding the Xbox for his friend. After calling the store back and confirming with Anna that they did in fact have an Xbox series X in stock, I sent my girlfriend down to the store with her old Xbox one S. She told me she arrived there before the other customer they sold the item to. They were refusing to help her until the other girl walked in and waved at Nathan. Nathan then sold her the item before even helping my girlfriend. Then proceeding to leave. Then the employees went on to tell my girlfriend was getting a good deal on the Xbox one X fully knowing we were looking for the Xbox Series X or...
