YES Wings & Hibachi — Restaurant in Stockbridge

This place is unprofessional and violating cleanliness laws. Besides the smell I was brought to upon entering, my interaction with a staff member was a shock and utterly wrongful. I called numerous times from 8:15pm-8:37pm to order but no one answered. When i arrive at the location, I walk in behind a woman and she is ordering in front of me. Upon approaching the cashier she tells me they are not taking orders if I did not call in. She said online orders end at 8:30pm and the kitchen closes at 8:50pm. Yet this is not on the website. The woman in front of me had just ordered and I asked cashier why are they able to order when we walked in same time? She tells me she walked in at 8:49pm. When i walked in with her and the current time was then 8:52pm. She was very rude and discriminative towards me when clearly they neglect to answer calls to avoid having orders. From reading other reviews after posting this one, i see the same issue has occurred several times and mentioning of a rude cashier is too consistent...

Very disappointed with this place. I placed an order and of course Door Dash was the deliverer. I ordered a salad with it and YES did not have the Garden salad that was $8. YES decided to just change and add or substitute for and replace with chicken and fried rice which totaled 11.99 with out asking me as the customer if I preferred that or just not have a salad. They charged me an additional 4.95 unauthorized and I am pretty and will never order from here again. You do not take it upon yourself to add money without authorization. What happened to we will replace for the same price or just give it for free as a substitution or just don't give the salad and remove it from the order. No, they charged me and that is something you do not do as a business and then would not answer the phone but this is a place that takes orders over the phone. I am very upset and will never order from here or go there again. They need to review there business practices and how they handle orders and what to charge...

The first visit here was excellent. The food was freshly prepared. The March 22,2024 visit was not quite the same experience. They didn’t answer the phone around 8:15pm-8:30pm. So, I arrive there around 8:30pm and waited in line. The cashier never says anything to me, but another couple gets in line behind me . The cashier loudly announces that they are no longer taking hibachi orders. I’m only making the public aware not to go there after 8pm , although they close at 9pm. The cashier rudely turned away 2 other customers as they entered by saying “we not taking any more orders!” To top it off they messed up my order, by adding lemon pepper sprinkle to my teriyaki wings., instead of adding it to honey hot wings that I ordered. By the way, lemon and pepper on teriyaki is not Good. The cashier was already in a bad mood , so I just took the order and tried to wipe away most of the lemon pepper seasoning. It’s hard to believe it’s the same place that had the fresh hibachi...
