This was my first time at this restaurant. My wife recommended it. The dining area looked well-organized and open. They also had ready items in a self-serve quick grab right at the register which I thought was very smart. There are many options and menu combinations. Impressive!! Though it's another chicken option, it's a good healthy chicken option. A good light lunch option. Smartly located near the hospital. It was suggested we try the Sassy Scotty Bacon Melt and the Buffalo Barkley Chicken Salad Sandwiches on croissants. Both were good. The Broccoli and Cheese soup was tasty as well. We sampled the grape salad but didn't order it. It was dry and didn't impress. I'll be back to try more sandwiches and I was told a Covington location is coming near where I live so that will be a plus. If you have a daughter and you want to inspire her for business, there is a "girl power" atmosphere/attitude in the undercurrent of customer service which is empowering for the ladies, so watch out guys if you are...
Read moreJust went there for the first time. I had an appointment in the area and wanted a healthy-ish lunch. This was delicious! I don't usually ever opt for chicken salad but the reviews were mostly good. I got the broccoli salad. Yummy! The Southern Chicken salad and also the fruit salad and I wanted to try the pimento cheese so I ordered a scoop after the fact. I found it pricey but I also had never been there and I think I could have ordered the pimento cheese as a side to make it cheaper. Not sure. I didn't get any bread or anything and it was $17 and change. Pricey for a scoop each of chicken salad and pimento cheese and a tiny amount of fruit and broccoli salad. But the food was fresh and very tasty. I kind of feel like I should have gotten it on a sandwich just to make it more worth it but I still gave 5 stars since the place was very clean and the staff was friendly. Beats fried junk options for a change. Overall it was good and I will...
Read moreThis is my first time eating at any Chicken Salad Chick. I told the cashier that I was unfamiliar with the menu and asked questions about the ingredients. I was very clear that we do not eat pork. When I ordered the food I made a specific reference to "no bacon". Completed the order, she repeated it..."no bacon". Got the meal, went home and what did I find?? Bacon. In the salad...also bacon.
If she knew that 1. This is my first time there and 2. I was unfamiliar with the menu, then she should have said, "ma'am the potato soup has bacon in it and we don't have a batch without bacon" not let me pay a whole $29 for a couple of sandwiches, inedible soup and pretty bad inedible egg salad. I ate 1/4 of it.
I won't indict a whole company for the oversight of a few employees, but management needs to see this and make proper corrections before your employees' errors make someone sick. My fiancee has NEVER eaten pork and he smelled it...
