First time there and will NEVER go back. Went to restrooms, no toilet paper, garbage all over the floors. In the dining area, Manager was counting money right next to plates, complaining how the money was short $20. Food items, especially the meats were almost empty. We started through the line but it was difficult with no items to choose from. Sauces were almost empty as well. There was eight of us waiting to get food cooked and no one cooking. Finally one guy came out, he looked filthy, then another guy came out to cook and he had on some old nasty jeans and Tshirt, no apron. The area around the food and sauces was dirty and clearly had not been cleaned in a while. As we stood in line the Manager filled her bowl with food, used the last of the teriyaki sauce and was having them cook her food while we all had to wait. It was all just too disgusting and we left our bowls and walked out. Went to the one on Grand Canal where it was clean, filled with food and so much more...
Read moreI love the original GK Mongolian in Venetian Bridges! Since the new location in Trinity Parkway opened, I have been wanting to love it, but is not the same. The staff is friendly and welcoming at times. It takes a while to get drink refills. But the thing I can't stand is that the food line is always a mess. I know that people will drop food items along the food bar and on the floor as the bowls are small and people try to jam pack them. Why don't they let customers use the bigger bowls so that the food and sauces can be accommodated and not end up wasted on the counters and floor? They don't clean the food line often, so as a customer, you end up stepping on food or getting sauce on your clothes as you reach to give your bowl to the cook. It would also be helpful to have napkins at the end of the food line so that a customer can wipe their hands, if needed. Overall, the food is good. I enjoy having fresh bok choy...
Read moreI'd give them a 5 star for things like cleanliness and friendly, BUT they'd get 1 star for how they treat their online orders. At least for Doordash. As a Dasher it angers me that they make me wait between 20min to 2 hours for orders that were order 30 min before i ARRIVE! I may not be the customer directly but I represent a customer that has ALREADY paid for their food and have been waiting 45min to receive it or more. It angers me that they cook people who just arrived before even LOOKING at their Doordash tablet and then make me wait. They get paid per hour. I do NOT. Every minute counts, every minute is a other order gone, another bad review and less hours for future schedules. Theh should be considerate od tjat and their online customers JUST as much as they value their walk in customers. So they get a three tl balance out that 5 and 1 star rating I...
