T.J. Maxx — Local services in Stockton

T.J. MAXX in Stockton CA. had worst customer service. We walked around the store without a single associate asking if we needed something. The bathrooms were very difficult to find and they were dirty! They were out of seat paper, and soap in them! The manager we talked to didnt even act like she cared. And then when we were trying to see how soft a chair was, which was great in softness, but the associate who was walking towards us noticed us and instead of asking if we needed any help. She ask started to harass us, telling us that we need to get off the chair. I was mortified that she would think we werent going to buy the chair. That was pretty much profiling your customer. Which is a big no no in retail. We decided to leave our stuff we were going to purchase and leave out the door. Very horrible experience at T.J. MAXX...

This establishment does not honor the prices as posted. Price transparency by law it states: “California's SB 478 price transparency bill requires that all mandatory charges be included in the listed price.” If an item is priced wrong or below, then it shouldn’t have to be changed to more than half the price. Not only that, but it holds up the line. Poorly run and creates an inconvenience, shop else where. A “Sorry” is not acceptable and this law been effective since July 1st 2024.

Shame On You! Yesterday was the 1st day Re-Opening. There wasn't really anything Marked down and Majority of items were same Price when they Closed. Little to No Spring & Summer items, A Lot of Sweaters & Long Sleeved shirts etc...Not Marked Down! Purses I had my Eyes on Same Red Tag Price!! Even Worse when I inquired Seniors hours, the comment, "We Don't Do Seniors "; might as well been a Laugh In My Face. Well, You better Realize There's A Lot of Seniors Like Myself Helped Build You.
