I came to work at this location after transferring from another restaurant in Stockton by Wilson Way. The GM at the time was Ene and she used to treat me horribly in front of the crew team, managers and drive-thru customers. One time when I was in charge of handing out orders she came up to me and started verbally harassing me because apparently I was making coffees super slow. She came up to my face and I could literally feel her spit and breath on my face as she continued to criticize my every move. The customer at my window looked concerned so I decided to leave that day after feeling intimidated by Ene. Another instance was when I was packaging online orders and she started raising her voice at me in front of everyone because apparently I wasn't as fast as her family friend who had recently been hired and turned a manager within a month. I remained quiet but did tell her I would soon transfer to another restaurant to which she said I couldn’t because she'd make sure I wouldn't. And that if I would be transferring she'd send me back to the last restaurant I worked at. Mind you I transferred to this restaurant because I had been harassed and bullied by the GM at the Wilson Way Mcdonald's. This lady Ene found it entertaining to continue verbally harassing and bullying me because of my past experience at the other restaurant. Turns out they were buddies and they had agreed to make me suffer so I could eventually quit. Anyways I hope my review raises awareness with job mistreatment that goes unseen by HR and higher up officials. I also hope restaurants stop promoting or hiring people who feel entitled to bully employees because they have the title of manager/ supervisor or general manager. You can honestly tell when a manager is college educated and when...
Read moreJust went into this location to order lunch at 1:15 pm on March 17th. I bypassed the self checkout because I value human interaction. I walked up to the counter and before I could even speak I was greated with poor attitude from a cashier named Ebony. I dismissed it initially because I was hungry but as I ordered a 2a combo. Ebony continued to show attitude in her demeanor and body language. When she repeated the order she emphasized "just the sandwich" and I asked if the 2a was a combo or the sandwich only. She rolled her eyes and did not answer my question only repeated "just the sandwich?" I stayed I wanted a combo. She rolled her eyes again and asked "what size?" while she shifted her weight to the other side. I was so put off by her attitude that I said "nevermind", walked out and went across the street to A&W / KFC. I've held numerous customer service manager positions and have been a fast food restraunt manager for 6 years. Her behavior is a DIRECT reflection of the management culture in this McDonald's. I don't eat at McDonald's often and this experience solidifies my decision to...
Read more(I apologize for the length but please, read on.) The last two fast food drive-thru's that I've visited have been a disappointment. This is one of them. Not because of the taste but because I ordered my burger without ketchup. Before pulling away I looked at the box the burger was in that had a clear label: w/o ketchup, extra pickle. I thought my request was given attention and drove on home. Wishful thinking and trust on my part. When I finally sat down at home my burger had enough ketchup to choke a horse. Once again in my cold car I headed back to McDonalds. The order was given to me correctly this time but, frankly due to the time and gas spent at my expense, I feel that the establishment should compensate in some way. Make me feel better about the time and expense I wasted due to the inability of the fry cook (or, whoever) to read a simple label. I don't know about anyone else but with a very limited income, S.S., I can't afford to waste my gas and at 68 yrs. of age I don't like wasting my time. Besides, eating out is a luxury for me. I don't need someone else to...
