Came here because my boyfriend used to love this place in high school (reading other reviews I see that's a common theme of people coming back after years and it not being as great as it once was).
I ordered the: spicy salmon roll, tiger roll, hot chile night roll, chicken teriyaki bowl, bbq roll
Overall service rating: 8 Sushi rating: 3 Fish quality: 7 Atmosphere rating: 8
CONS: I felt it was strange to pay at the door. For a place that looks so gorgeous, I was expecting an actual sit down meal. They have such a large menu and it sucked having to scan through the menu quickly to order. Due to having to order before sitting down, a lot of the service aspect is taken out of the meal. But they were great about topping off drinks.
The sushi rolls were overall alright. Their quality in fish is good. But their sushi rolls are pretty basic. The menu made the sushi rolls seem really good, and I was disappointed when I got rolls that were as simple as California rolls. Basically the rolls I got were a piece of fish on top of a pile of rice and cucumber.
I thought it was pricey. We paid $50 dollars and though we got 5 dishes, it definitely didn't taste like it was worth $50 dollars for some basic California rolls and speedy take out.
I do not recommend having a date here unless you want some quick take out rather than a sit down dinner.
I ordered the spicy salmon roll knowing it was a basic roll, but it wasn't spicy at all and lacked on sauce. Salmon tasted good though.
DO NOT order the hot chile nights roll, it was basically a cucumber roll with a dallop of spicy tuna and a slice of jalapeno on top with a small drop of sauce. I was VERY disappointed. This roll was on the expensive side and I could have gotten a basic tuna roll and it would have been the same thing.
PROS: The chicken teriyaki bowl WAS TO DIE FOR. I usually hate chicken teriyaki but it was a large bowl was delicious chicken and fresh veggies and very good sauce. I would definitely come back here ONLY for the chicken teriyaki bowl.
The atmosphere is gorgeous. They did a great job decorating after their remodel. It looks like a high scale place.
Overall: Most likely I will not be eating sushi here again or coming back for a meal. If I do come back to eat here, it will be for take out for their chicken teriyaki bowl. I could have paid the same price at a higher class sushi restaurant and had a better...

Our order was handed one at a time… rolls are so tiny for the price. My family had finished their food, I’m still waiting on my order. I waited patiently for awhile, customers who’s sat down and ordered after us were getting their food! I finally walked up to register area to get their attention. They we’re blank and didn’t even let me know if it was coming or being made. I walked back to our table and my husband finally asked for a refund. Then they tell him it’s almost ready 🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️ I had already lost my appetite. Oh! They didn’t even bother to ask if I wanted my refund back on the payment method I used, instead was given cash smh.
Oh! A response from this location, ironic LOL!!! Sadly, I wouldn’t try this place again. It’s not polite to blame an associate of your poor service and perhaps poor training. That just shows your true intentions which makes a lot of sense. By the way, the young lady serving was actually polite (wish I got her name, too bad I didn’t get a chance) she was doing an amazing job. She too, was embarrassed by the older lady’s reactions as well when told we wanted the refund for the rolls since we’ve been waiting. And watching others gets served and eat. I get the fact of preparing food as they’re ordered, no doubt. But “a” roll, that was obviously missed and wasn’t checked on. While other rolls as many as two- three rolls at a time getting handed out is obviously a mistake. Least you guys could’ve done is be honest and genuinely apologize. Oh! Before I forget when the older lady was proceeding with refunding us with cash she was asked to refund directly from payment method. She said, she couldn’t. Next time be honest, don’t come on here commenting back with irrelevance as it looks pretty ugly on your end🤷🏻♀️ no customer will support shady...
Read moreI would definitely never support such an unethical business not only for food but also for gossip and lying.
I was being helped by this young busser who had just graduated very respectfully and kind a few months back.
As soon as worker left a older Manager and a server making fun of workers new start with first job (mind you these are grown adults over 40.)
How this establishment would subject the new employee to not receive tips(worker earned) and mess with workers scheduling to see how long worker would last!
If your boss misappropriates your tips, etc, this is illegal.
I would never refer anyone to eat or a young teen or any human with a pulse to apply here as they will take advantage and manipulate young teens trying to establish their selves.
This establishment should be ashamed and legally understand that a business employing individuals can not do this.
As the tip we left went in someone else's pocket as the young employee did not receive and was told new employees do not receive any tips for workers absolutely amazing service only seasoned workers recieve.
This establishment should be investigated and highly ashamed by how they treat people.
If you treat employees like this, it's just as easy for this establishment to do unetical working to patrons . Word of mouth travels fast! To the young employee, reach out to me if you're looking for work!
Update: Bless your ❤️! It just shows with your lack of logic and emotional output you indeed have mental/ego issues. Have a great...
