I went into the Stockton store, ubreakifix, yesterday to get my S23Ultra screen replaced. I have Samsung Care + insurance on the phone. Ubreakifix is an authorized repair for Samsung cell phones. When I entered the store the technician imputed my IME number and according to Samsung, the technician failed to see that I have Samsung Care+ insurance, because the IME number of the phone opens up the Samsung history of my phone and clearly shows the Samsung Care + insurance on the phone., according to Samsung I did not realize that I had the Samsung Care+ insurance, until 2 hours after they fixed my screen and charged me $293.43. I called Samsung and they issued me an Advance Receipt for the repair of the screen. I went back to the store today and the supposedly manager said he could not honor the insurance request. I asked the way technician did not see that I had the insurance when they inputted my IME number. Their response was basically too bad we cannot make any corrections. So I am out $293.43, even though I have insurance and the technician failed to see that in the history of the phone when they inputted my IME number. It appears they make more money by failing to see that I had insurance and burned me for $293.43
So beware So beware ubreakifix response is a joke, they refused to make the...
Read moreYou ruined everything. Ok so ill take responsibility for setting everything on the precipice, but you're the ones that knocked it all over the edge. I brought my phone to your store as a referral from Google for a screen repair under extended warranty and when I got my phone back the line was gone and it looked nice but the front camera did not work. The speaker did not work. When it rang it sounded like it was ringing from underwater and when I called you to report these problems you told me call Google so I did and I had to send my phone in and the week I was without my phone I could not log into anything. Now my bank account's negative. I couldn't even hey my credit card bill because I could not verify my account because I didn't have my phone because I had to send it to Google because you guys botched the screen repair. So while I guess technically these things are not your fault they did happen as a direct result of inability to swap screen out told you when I was there that you can just give me the screen and I would change it at home the only reason I was at your store was because i didn't have money to buy the screen itself. oh well my bad. I guess eventually I'll be able to recover from this, but my credit report is going to take a hit. Probably...
Read moreHorrible experience. Had a cracked screen called samsung care made a claim payed $29 deductable, walked my phone in the same day and showed them the text message I got from samsung showing I payed and was aproved by samsung. They took my phone made me a receipt and proceeded to fix. 2 hours later they said it was fixed but couldn't release it to me until they had approval from samsung through some chat line so the can get paid, after an hour later they said there's an issue with samsung and it probably wouldn't get resolved today and that I would probably need to come back the next day. I then told them to put my old screen on and give me my phone. When I got my phone back I called samsung while there and they had told me that the deductable was paid and shouldn't have had an issue. When i ended the call I asked the ubreakifix guy what should I do now he said come early in the morning so they would have all day. I was there for more than 3½ hours waiting for a screen repair. Mind you I live in modesto and this is the nearest repair center, in stockton 30 miles away. I got there at 1pm...
