Terrible Service Experience I’m typically very patient, especially in busy public establishments, but my experience here was unacceptable. My wife made a reservation for a lane at 5 PM, and we were excited to use a gift card we received for Christmas from my sister and brother.

Upon arrival, we weren’t greeted for over 15 minutes, leaving us unsure of how to get started. We eventually walked to the back, where three lanes were open, but there was no one around to assist. We returned to the front and approached a bartender to explain we had a reservation. Only then were we told to scan a QR code and wait a bit before being set up.

After waiting another 20 minutes, a new group arrived and was immediately greeted and placed on a lane while we were still waiting. I stayed patient but was starting to feel frustrated. The bartender came back to ask if we wanted drinks before setting us up. We paid for drinks and waited another 20 minutes. Yet again, another group arrived and was placed on a lane before us.

By now, my patience was wearing thin. Despite our reservation, other groups who arrived well after us were prioritized. After waiting an additional 15 minutes, we asked another employee about our lane. The bartender eventually returned and told us it would be a longer wait or that we could come back another time. At this point, I’d had enough and requested a refund.

I was told we’d receive an email with a redemption code that wouldn’t expire, but I’ve yet to receive it. This was a disappointing experience all around. If you offer reservations, those should be prioritized. If you make a promise to a customer, follow through. It felt like the staff was just trying to rush customers out due to poor service management.

I wouldn’t recommend wasting a second of...

Fun & unique way to spend time on a 1st date, college kids home for winter break, office night out/ team building. Appreciated the Jenga, arcade & "beer" ( water in the solo cups), ping available while we waiting for our axe lanes to become available. Axes is set in a pediatrician -centric shopping area, which is filled w high end to casual restaurants, dessert options, clothing stores & and escape room venue. Atmosphere @ Axes is what you make it- there is no music playing, no juke box, & the Staff was less than friendly & outgoing (@ least on the night we were there). I have no expectations in that regard-- as long as I don't receive bad/rude service for what I'm paying for, I'm happy. How can Axes improve? Music, ping pong, shuffle board, karaoke, coffee (also so staff can perk up & get thru their shift w/out yawning haha), & snacks like soft pretzels, churros, warm peanut in the shell, ding dongs, ya know, something different. Also, keeping score with a chalkboard and chalk is perhaps better until the digital "game scorekeeping" the axe throwing setup is upgraded to keep score so the player doesn't have to use a mouse, find the small box on the "screen" (It's projected on the ax wall ) and enter the score themselves. It's a bit tedious. Also better lighting in the ax alleys would Make the experience much better. Definitely prefer the old-fashioned way of keeping score. Overall, this is a wonderful venue, and a great idea for something different to do when you're in the mood to go out and have some fun! Definitely you...

Reviewed this place 1 year ago and gave it great reviews, not sure what has happened since then. Only positive was that they were flexible with my reservation time since we were late. Once we arrived there was only 1 other axe booth occupied and the place was dead. Do not book online if you are a first responder, or a teacher, apparently they will give you a discount, but only If you book in person! I didn’t see this anywhere on their website. The menu listed on Google is NOT correct. The only food they have are nachos, pretzels, and flatbreads. You cannot buy wine or champagne by the glass even though it is listed on the menu. The bartender left around 8, so we couldn’t order any cocktails on the menu, Manager said he could only make simple ones. There was only one other person working there and he was doing the trivia, serving, and getting customers set up for their sessions. I specifically booked at this location because of the food and drink selection, none of it was available. I spoke to the manager about all of this, and he really didn’t seem to care. Stated the menu is being redone! Then why even have the menu out if it’s not correct!I was extremely disappointed And will not return, big...

We recently enjoyed a team outing after a great lunch in Lincoln Center. We had eight in total and reserved two lanes. The staff was fun and very helpful in getting us trained and started. The games that were projected on the target board were cool, and there was a lot of variety. It takes axe throwing to a new level. They have a variety of food available, but we did not eat there. They are working on an expanded kitchen too! Lots of canned craft beer, seltzers and ciders - like 100+ varieties. Of course, sodas and water too. The decor and vibe are great. Overall a really fun team-building location and a great addition to the Stockton entertainment scene.

It was my first time here, and I had a wonderful experience. I enjoyed throwing axes and along with having some drinks at the bar. There is also a mini arcade room. After throwing axes, I spent most of my time there in the arcade throwing darts and playing basketball. I think this is a great place to take family, friends, and significant others. In order to play, you have to book online for a day and a time. It is $35 per adult. For children age 10 to 13 cost $20. Before arriving, you must wear toe closed shoes. Also, arrive 15 minutes early. Most of all, no cash for axe throwing. Card would be the best payment.
