Stockton's Place — Restaurant in Stockton

Definitely will have to come out try different meals. We had chilaquiles and nopales con huevo. The chilaquiles were drowned in a mole style salsa that was mild , with chips not homestyle, we had to add 2 eggs since it was not included.

The beans were seasoned well, a hard miss for the rice, it seamed old and bland maybe dried out. Tortillas were included but the chips were not.

For the price it was not well served. You will have to rely on the tortillas to fill you up. The salsa seemed sweet, i thought maybe it was tomato dominant but i am keen on sugar being added, the wife said it might be "Pace" mild. Who knows but i would not put it past anyone.

This place was recommeded by a tik tok user as authentic and well it's certainly not a place i would recommend as such.

There is alot of american style food on the menu so it might just be catering to a different audience then those with a taste for Mexican cuisine.

Recommend turning on more lights and I would have been able to present the dish as well.

Well where do I start we sat at our table for about 15min with no waitress asking for our drinks or any menu's to look at a family walked in and sat at the counter then that was it she took there order and gave them drinks within 5 min the girl said sit here at this table but it wasn't even cleaned up the dishes where still on the table then she left the salsa like if we where going to reuse it with the 15 chips that she brought us then there big container where they store the salsa was just left on the counter uncovered It was just unorganized like they never ran a restaurant before so we left and went to another restaurant to eat just on the next block sorry there is no photos since we didn't even...

This place is horrible. Visiting from out of town and it was a terrible decision to decide on this restaurant. It does not deserve the 4.6 stars it has at all. Very rude waiters always on their phones and talking with coworkers . deliberately ignoring our calls and request. Was not greeted in any way when we entered . They are friendly but service is bad and theres many Holes in the ceiling. Didn't take our order right. Needed to clarify what we wanted. I am mexican and don't speak Spanish but at the same time when I'm placing my order I don't want to be looked at like I'm a fool for speaking English. Food was ok .I give it 1/10 .GO...
