This is by FAR THE WORST Taco Bell visit EVER! Could just be that it was Stockton, CA and the whole city just gave up back when they were the first CA city to declare Bankruptcy (dont think they ever recovered just floating along). You know it is a "No money" city when they have CHP doing REGULAR cop duties... That is because they are paid from a state budget and not the nonexistent Stockton budget. Anyhow, back to point. The restrooms were horrid as if they haven't been cleaned or maintained in.... well, since the city declared bankruptcy. The girl at the counter (all on duty staff) was either really high and who knows what, possible "rollercoaster" concoction mix of drugs... She was pretty clueless and "forgot" what she was doing in the matter of under a minute. The tacos I got looked normal, looked being the key word here. I have NEVER had ground beef THAT dry or even dry at all from ANY Taco Bell EVER!!! Their meat is supposed to be a little runny!!! This was drier than mom's Thanksgiving Turkey after it dried out in the oven. I do have to say that the hot sauce packets were all stacked in their area nicely.... like, never seen before.. probably due to high employees "getting into" it. Too bad they didnt know how to clean or prepare proper food. If the restrooms were THAT bad.... I cringe to think about the kitchen area we couldn't see. In hind sight, I guess we are lucky we didnt suffer a bout of food borne illness (food poisoning). We DID have a rather abrupt ejection right as we got home aprox 6 or 7 hours later.... If we had lived even 30 minutes more down the road.... we would have been dancing with Mr Brownstone (note) in the car and that would have been ugly. I would just strive to tell anyone... dont stop in Stockton for ANYTHING if you dont HAVE to. It was pretty ghetto my entire life living in Central CA.... it is WAY beyond Ghetto now.... they dont even have a word for it yet!!! Had we not been very tired (middle of a 13.5 hour day in the car) with our upset and sad uncomfortable 3.5 year old who just wanted to be home already, I would have taken pictures.... Just use your imagination for as bad as you think it is and I can assure you... it was/is worse!!! Tacos, just regular crunchy tacos... NEVER had them be so wrong and oh so dry. Wife had a nachos.... The plus side... a sure fire way to end...
Read moreI just had one of the worst experiences ever at this spot. I went to the East Hammer Lane Taco Bell drive thru to get lunch for me and my family. The girl taking my order was the worst. Right away you can tell she hates her job. She have really bad customer service kept rushing me to finish ordering. When I got to the window to pay she told me to have my card in hand next time I go there so I wonât take so long to pay. My wife heard what she told me and saw the look on my face and told me let it go. We ordered 4 combo meals and only gave us our drinks at the window. We were told to park out front and an employee will bring us our food when itâs ready. We waited for over 15 minutes and finally we got our food. As she was handing me the food I told her if everything we ordered was in the bags. She said âYes I double checked myself â. I thanked her and we left. We were on our way to Sacramento. As we got on the freeway my wife started handing out our food She then told me that everyone was missing half of the combos that they ordered. I was so angry that I wanted to turn around and go back. My wife said no because we had a doctors appointment to get to. I ended up giving my food away so they can have a good lunch. My wife told me to let everything go and we will go somewhere else after the doctors appointment. My wife is the kind of person that never wants any problems. My family and I love Taco Bell but after this happened who knows if we will ever be back. If I could give this place negative stars I would...
Read moreFood is good but customer service is awful.
I visited this Taco Bell on 7/2/23 around 12 pm. When I entered there was no employee at the front register. I saw several employees within my side view working. After a long wait period I decided to say, "Excuse me, Is someone working the front?" A female employee looked directly at me then looked down and completely ignored me.
I continued to wait and no employee acknowledged or spoke to me. So I decided to once again say, "Excuse me." Three employees looked up at me then looked away completely ignoring me.
After an extended wait time with zero acknowledgement from staff, an employee moseyed over and decided to help me. All of the employees behaved as though I was only a nuisance.
I frequently visit fast food restaurants and I've noticed that customer service is continually declining. It seems the employees are either very poorly trained or the management does not care how their customers are being treated.
I hope the manager reads this review and makes improvements with their staff.
Taco bell is one of my favorite foods but I will not frequent this...
