The Cigar Bar — Restaurant in Stonecrest

My sister and I come there all the time for years we have supported the entire area. However the last couple times we went we was attacked by the staff. We sat at the bar and ordered food and drinks, we spend over a $100 the bartender look like the girl ivory from nowthatstv she was so rude and rushed us to order and finish our food and drinks and then got mad because we didn’t leave an additional tip because we didn’t like her attitude or service. She then proceeded to start a conflict with us saying that we couldn’t sit at the bar if we wasn’t spending any money when she clearly rushed us to close our tabs and our drinks wasn’t even done. I treated my sister on the first tab and we was going to start a new one once we finished our drinks. She wanted to buy us shots. She then calls the manager over to us who was EXTREMELY rude! She got in our faces and was yelling then proceed to call the officer to us to escort us out. We was humiliated and discriminated by the same bartender once before. We felt unsafe and picked at when the place was super empty and everyone sitting at the bar was there when we walk in and walk out so I’m so confused as to why we was singled out and we spend money. We didn’t and couldn’t finish our drinks. It’s sad as women we can’t go out and enjoy ourselves because other women are intimidated. Not once did they bother or say anything to the men sitting around us. When I ask to order more food the bartender was aggravated with us. We both work in customer service industry and we are very aware of tipping for GOOD service not for someone doing their job. I will never come back into that place. I felt so unsafe even from the officers. We was embarrassed! The servers from next door at J.R. crickets even came over and said they come up here all the time and spend and tip good money. We shouldn’t be obligated to tip for rudeness and bad customer service. I’ve been coming to The Cigar Bar for 2yrs now and this place started out as a spot where you could get a nice smoke and kick back, relax, and listen to some Jazz & R&B. Food always is awesome. However, now it is pure turn up, ratchet, and twerk. Nothing against that crowd but The Cigar Bar needs to decide what is going to be the personality moving forward bc we recently have ended up leaving much earlier than we intended once you guys switch from Grown and sexy to Cardi B and Migos. Are you a Cigar bar or a night club bc you seem more like a hip hop night club that sells cigars at this point. Came in Sunday May 12, 2019 (Mother’s Day) and they were literally throwing $1 bills on the floor and girls were twerking. Customers (myself included) were clearly looking as if to say “I DIDN’T COME HERE FOR THAT TONIGHT”. Even the waitresses participate in the twerking every time we come in. Cmon guys!! Either be a strip/night club or a cigar bar. Most folks who smoke cigars want to smoke cigars, relax and have a nice drink.

Also, we were sitting in the back on the right side on the couch. My torch fell inside the back part of the right couch and you guys should seriously do some frequent cleaning of the couches. The amount of film, soil, dirt, and ketchup that I had on my hands was absolutely ridiculous. I’m very disappointed that this place has evolved into this type of establishment. As a paying customer, these types of expectations should not be difficult to request. This should be basic requirements and expectations that you set for your staff and as a business.

This place is horrible the customer service sucks the waitresses all have bad attitude this one particular waitress I think her name is Jamie she is so awful and rude and disrespectful she deny ppl drinks, which if your a paying customer how are you denying drinks, I seen her literally tell some customers not serve them. The security guards are not even protecting there customers, Nevertheless its only one good bar tender she has red hair, they have bar person that cuss at customers she very rude disrespectful I never been to place that has know respect for there customers, I have seen Mgr’s doing coke who runs this place! Who allow this place to be a mad house that’s located on Panola rd! I even heard one of there waitress got into an altercation where she was follow in from the back door by another waitress! This waitress Jamie I seen this for my own eyes she was very wrong to those customers she even told me don’t speak to my man I didn’t even know who her man was! Cigar bar has gone down tremendously there’s no discipline at all!!! Who is the owner pretty sure as business owner to business owner you shouldn’t want your establishment to run unprofessional with non customers service waitress and bartenders that girl behind the bar with the long hair she yells and use profanity I would never come back to this place or recommend my family nor friends there as well!
