If I could give negative stars I would. I work near to this location, so both myself and many of my coworkers like to stop in on our way to work to grab breakfast. Unfortunately, it has become a joke that if you don't plan at least a half an hour you don't have time to grab breakfast. Sometimes you might get lucky and get in and out in less than 15 minutes, but that is really rare. I stopped by this morning, and went inside as the drive-thru was packed. I stood at the counter for almost ten minutes, and was never even acknowledged. Meanwhile, I heard them take at least 3 orders for the drive-thru. While waiting, 6 more people came in behind me, so there was quite a line, and no one said a word to anyone. Apparently, they can't be bothered with actually handling their customers. I ended up walking out, still not served. I wish this was a one-time event, but sadly, no. I have had to walk out without being served many times. I just decided to give up on this location today. They will no longer get my business. They act like it is such a surprise every morning that people show up and they have to feed them. They are never ready to handle the orders, tea isn't made, condiments aren't set out, and biscuits are never ready. I understand they are trying to serve hot food, but if I have to wait 15 minutes minimum EVERY visit, maybe they should plan better. This also applies to lunch. I have never had lunch there that I didn't have at least a 15...
Read moreMy experience with this location is the same with all of the complaints: it's always fully staffed and the staff seem to love their job and mgmt, the staff is always friendly but seem overwhelmed during peak times; can't seem to get the orders right at drive thru and inside, the orders would be in the window but the baggers overlook it. They always say pull up at the drive thru to wait for tenders (whatever's that more time then the alot drive thru wait time; I don't like to pull up especially after already waiting the time in the drive thru line) that are cook-to-order even though you have waited over the cook time for the driver ahead of you to get their orders. From my mgmt experience it is the mgmt staff filling orders instead of managing the staff during peak hour. My two cents solution: review how you could have managed the food prep for peak times. Based on your findings, manage the kitchen staff to drop/cook items at certain times, prep the dough - and other fast moving item - ahead of time for peak and cook biscuits every 5, 10, 15 back down to every 20 mins (you have the customers, but we will stop coming if you keep making us late for work) if it is done properly you should have very little waste. You have excellent staff even separate staff for drive thru and a separate clean up crew, love it especially the Ms's who says, "IT'S BO TIME". She is your signature, an added plus that makes you different...
Read moreI've been to this location twice since it opened and I have been pleased with my food on both occasions. As a word to the wise, when you come here bring you patience because usually they have quite a line. There's been major buzz and excitement around the restaurant, I guess since we don't have many in GA. The 2 times I went, I was able to get through the drive thru in and out in a little less than 10 minutes which is not terrible considering that the line is usually so long.
I've had the sausage biscuit, the bacon, egg and cheese biscuit and the sweet potato pie so far. The biscuits are really flaky, buttery and delicious! I really have no complaints about them. They keep me wanting more so what more could I ask for. I had to throw some jelly on my sausage biscuit because it needed little bit more to it since all it is, is a sausage sandwiched in a biscuit like the name says! It's 2 for $2.99 though. For those that enjoy sweet tea, it was .99 when I went. I don't drink that stuff so I can't tell you how it tastes (I'm from NY so I prefer the powdered iced tea from Pathmark. What you know about that?!).
The Sweet potato pie has changed my life both times I tried it. It is so deliciously warm, flavor and mmm mmmm good. I definitely recommend that you try it if you go.
Overall, really like the food here and I will continue to go. Also, the service isn't bad either....
