Legend brought me here. The Pastor tacos kept my soul. I had the fortunate luck of being able to try the carnitas quesadilla. I'll most certainly be back again for different types of quesadillas probably different types of tacos as well really like both of them. I'll probably go with my girlfriend. Who did introduce me to the place. Then I brought her food to where she worked at from here after having to move because a cop was parked right in front of me and I felt weird about wearing my "Legalize Meth" shirt in front of him so I went around the block but still got awkward looks but then later on he ended up coming into the place where I was going to be anyway so I might as well just have went in in the first place. My girlfriend had the torta. She really enjoyed it but she left the second half at work.

Update: She's now my fianceé. And we've been to LaJua's soooo many...

This ain't no authentic Mexican food!!! Their Chimichanga is an awful burrito that didn't have cheese in it (and I guess their sour cream is their cheese) and it wasn't deep fried, the meat that it had were pieces of tuff spongy nerves or lard. The Bistec Ranchero has more onions in red chilie sauce then it had beef, your paying $14 for the onions in red sauce, what ever meat it had I kept chewing on it for a good five minutes before eating it. Why would anyone call this authentic? I live in California on the border, I'm here because of work and saw the reviews and thought this must be a good place, and now I'm thinking have this people really tasted authentic Mexican food? Because I definitely wouldn't be calling it authentic, definitely won't be coming back here, and I certainly won't be paying attention to these...

Im very disappointed on how the food was the I love Mexican food it’s one of my favorites but it sad to see how they serve it to their customers. I got a asada burrito with everything and 2 asada tacos when I tell you the meat was raw I mean it wasn’t fully cooked from the burrito later at night I couldn’t sleep because of the stomachache that I had then a few hours went by I had to go to the ER due to a REALLY bad stomachache that made it cause a food poisoning for about 3 almost 4 days. Do I recommend it yes ONLY cause of the nice ladies that help clean the tables and help prepare the food but other than thank I DON’t...

Absolutely the best Mexican food I've ever had. The seasoning on the carnitas was fantastic, like nothing I've ever tasted before. Next time I go back to Storm Lake I'm going to take a huge cooler and order one of everything they make to take home and try with my family. It's seriously that good! And really inexpensive, it looked too cheap on the menu so I ordered two dinners (Chile relleno and burrito dinner) but they were full size dinner plates, see photo. I had way too much food so I took some home to my wife the next day. She said we should drive 4 hours back to Storm Lake just to get some more for lunch :)

REAL Mexican food, not Tex-Mex. Varied menu of traditional taquería options, full dinners, plus a few American staples (French fries). Wide selection of non-alcoholic beverages (Jarrita soft drinks with real sugar) and agua fresca (Jamaica, horchata, piña). Popular with the whole range of ethnicities that live in.Storm Lake.
