Had an amazing experience at Ying's Kitchen while on a visit to Storm Lake from the Okoboji area. My husband had been to Ying's before and really wanted the rest of the family to get to try the food as well because he loved it so much, so after a program at BVU, we treated ourselves to dinner out. Ordered the spring rolls and crab rangoon for apps and they were both better than what we're used to at Asian restaurants in our home area, and our main main dishes did not disappoint, either. I had the sweet & sour with chicken, medium spice level, and it was out of this world good. A little more spicy than what I'm used to, but not so much so that I couldn't eat it. Not only was the food stellar, but the employees were friendly, smiling, attentive and appreciative. I could tell they really cared about their restaurant and patrons and wanted us to have a great experience, which we definitely did. This is the only restaurant we've found that has food like this, this good, and although we live an hour and 10 minutes away, we decided that making the trek down just for Ying's Kitchen would well be worth it. Thank you to the crew for welcoming us and feeding us amazing food. We'll definitely be back.

Today we were visiting Storm Lake, so We decided to stop quickly for a late lunch, for appetizer we ordered the shrimp vegetable spring rolls and they were so delicious and perfectly served , I ordered the shrimp Pad Thai and it was one of the best I ever tried, my husband ordered shrimp fried rice and it was so delicious as well. Unfortunately I didn’t take pictures of the food, but definitely recommend it and we will be coming back soon!! Also I tried the Thai green tea and it was excellent.

Their food is great, tier 2 spice is just perfect. Their Crab Rygoon is the best in town, they fry it just right so it's crunchy but also soft enough to eat the whole thing. I know I've found my new favorite place to eat in town!

We dined with a large group of people. Those of us who were frequent Thai/Laotian food eaters hated the food and those who were new to it, loved it. As the person who picked up the bill, I was also very upset that I was charged the credit card fees, without prior notice. Personally, I had the worst Pad Thai In order to attempt to make it edible, I asked for lime or some hot chili oil and they claimed not to have any! In a Thai restaurant—no limes or...
