We decided to stop at Fox's on our way home. I have an atrocious cold and thought some of their buffalo wings might clear out the congestion. We have had their wings previously through a friend that ordered them, and absolutely loved them! So we thought, let's go ahead and stop. Fox's is located in a half way point in our 70 minute commute home from work, in Strasburg. I called in the order for two 10pc wings, a large cheese pizza and a large buffalo chicken pizza. This came to a grand total of $48.74. The Wings came to $8.50 for each order. That leaves spending $31.74 on two large pizzas. Including tax, of course. Bare in mind I have worked in the food industry and in the realm of retail and sales for a very long time. Never in my working career have I ever seen a buffalo pizza that resembled what I got Wednesday night. When we got home, we enjoyed our wings. But was shocked to discover our buffalo chicken pizza consisted of a sparse amount of chicken, cheddar cheese....And that's it. The buffalo sauce was inside a to-go solo cup, and there wasn't a drop of ranch drizzle on the pizza as the website had described or pictured. The cheese pizza was also a disappointment, as it had a strange rubbery texture, perhaps it may have dried out or was cooked to long.. My four year old son who loves pizza shocked me when he said "mommy this is gross, I want soup instead." No problem there, kiddo. Me too. Still, I called Fox's just to clarify about the buffalo chicken pizza. I asked about the description and the picture on the website. I was told by, who I assume was a supervisor, that "Fox's pizza is a franchise, all Fox's are different. That's just how we make our buffalo pizza. " One would assume as a franchise you take a stake in representing someone's brand. Therefore should be consistent from store to store to represent said brand. For example, McDonald's is a franchise. We don't eat at McDonalds much at all. However as a franchise is still very consistent from store to store. See also Subway The initial lady who dealt with me was very kind. She offered a 10% discount on our next order, but unfortunately we won't be going back there. There was no lack of customer service or cordial manners, the staff was very sweet. The wings were good too..That's about the only reason I will merit Fox's pizza of...
Read moreService was mediocre at best. We weren’t greeted at all when we came in and I had to ask if we seat ourselves. They took our drink order fairly quickly. There was an older gentleman sitting behind us that had already ordered before we even sat down. Food took probably about 20 minutes to come out which was fine. We ordered two Wedgies both with fries instead of chips and a bambino. When our food came out no fries. The old man behind us still didn’t have his food. The server was supposed to be checking in on our fries, she came back to let us know that they were dropping them now in the fryer. The older gentleman behind us finally got his food. They didn’t bring the fries out till we were almost done eating. I told them just to box mine to go as they brought one order out before the other. My husbands drink stayed empty pretty much the entire time and wasn’t refilled at all. Had to go ask for a box because our server forgot to bring one when she said she was going to. When I walked up to get the box two of the younger employees were at the counter playing on their phones which to me is just rude. When we went to pay I asked if we had been charged for the fries since they didn’t come out till we were done and the girl at the counter pretty much rolled her eyes and said I don’t know. We drove almost an hour to eat here and needless to say next time we’ll go to the one in...
Read moreI called in an order for pickup. I asked for two medium pizzas, one pepperoni and the other just cheese. I live 30 minutes away but since my wife enjoys the food, we decided to get food here this time. After picking up the pizzas and going home, I opened the box and realized the pepperoni pizza was mistakenly made as a mushroom pizza. Since no one in the house likes mushrooms, my wife ended up having a frozen pizza from the freezer. We decided to call the restaurant to see if they would make right their mistake and their only "fix" was we could drive 30 minutes back the same night or we could accept 10 percent off our next pizza. We wanted to bring it back 2 days later when we were going back to the area but they said no. I am not pleased that this place could not make right a mistake they made and will be eating Dominoes from now on. Dominoes corrected every issue we have ever had with them and the...
