McDonald's — Restaurant in Strasburg

I’m a local, the only reason I go to this McDonald’s is when my son wants a happy meal every other week or so. The drive-they…It doesn’t matter if there is no one in front of you in line or if there are 10 cars in front of you, it’s a 15-20 minute wait. 95% of the time it’s an incredibly long wait with such a low number of customers in line it makes no sense. I’ve tried doing the order ahead curbside thing, that just takes even longer lol I don’t leave reviews but this McDonalds is so reliably slow, I just had to say something. Also, most of the time you will have to pull up to wait for your food, they will never give you the freaking sauces you asked for when they do this. I promise there will not be a single sauce in the bag, I’ve seen it reliably for years. It’s almost like they do it on purpose like it says the damn sauces on the receipt with all the other food.. figure it out ffs. That being said, rarely do they get your order wrong, I always get a bag full of what I ordered (sans said sauces). Pretty standard cookie cutter McDonald’s food. The staff is always friendly and they never seem to mind going back in to get my sauces. Lmao This could be a top tier McDonalds, they just need to pick up the pace already. This is one of the worst mcdonalds I've ever had to deal with. I use the mobile app so I know it's not the cashiers fault for the screw ups. I order my burgers the way I want them. Like no cheese or extra pickles. Do they come that way no! Two nights ago I ordered 2 apple pies I get home to my pies being substituted for strawberry. I go back the next day and was told by a manager that it was impossible to order apple. I showed him my receipt on to be told it was impossible. The week before that I ordered kids meal with apple slices only to have my youngster find a go hurt in the box. The final straw came tonight I ordered sundaes and got to the speaker only to be told the ice cream machine was down. Also a couple of weeks ago I ordered the apple pies and told to come to the window. I sat there almost 10 minutes. I finally received a bag with the pies and head off to home. Get home to find two microwaved pies that were doughy unbaked and centers frozen solid. I think somebody in upper management needs to start using mystery shoppers and start hiring people that can deliver customer service and not people who just stand around goofing up...

GO ANYWHERE ELSE!!! the worst McDonald’s experience I’ve ever had! Cashier was rude and snotty, service was slow and disorganized. The employees were not great, but the issues are clearly the manager and Likely the franchise owner. Very poorly managed and operated location.

I watched 5 orders IN A ROW get delivered incorrectly, and 3 items get made with no orders attached (they tried to give them away, and stated they were made by accident - this is not conjecture)

And when the customers asserted themselves about the errors, they were met with rolled eyes and attitude.

No sense of an apology and no urgency in fixing the errors.

For my order, it was missing items, and my overall wait time was 30 mins for my completed order from the time it was put in until all items were delivered. For context, it was 2 meals: 1 chicken sandwich meal and 1 10pc nuggets meal - nothing crazy.

It’s gonna be a long time before I go to another McDonald’s after this poor experience, and I will never be returning to this location. I wish I could find out if this franchise owner owned any other locations, because I would...
