As a top dasher for the community, and having 5 years of food service industry experience with multiple restaurants, I understand that there may be delays and issues with short staffing, busy-ness due to in-store customers, and inexperience of new hires. However, when you're working at these jobs to provide a pleasant customer service experience, friendliness, cleanliness, and timing should generally fall above all else. As I entered the store, the team lead( as I'd guess) took a moment to let me know they would be with me as soon as possible. Which is a valid response. When you have three customers standing in line. There was another employee also working on another sandwich who had shoulder length curly hair down in their face and took over finishing an order for the first employee who addressed me. After they had finished wrapping the first sandwich, with their gloves on, they went ahead to touch their glasses and their face to move their hair out of the way. Then continued wrapping up the second sandwich for the customer. The team lead then checked the mobile order they had on the counter, saw it wasn't mine and saw that they had 3 new mobile order receipts sitting there, took them to the start of the line and then started with the next in-store customer. By this time I had been there for 10 minutes. I understand, although for reference, dashers do not get paid by the hour. I went to sit in my car for a few minutes then my girlfriend went in to use the restroom and continue to wait for the order, by this time 15 or so minutes had passed. As she came out and walked towards the counter, the team-lead abruptly proclaimed, "Are you gonna order something?". Yes, we fully understand that restrooms are for patrons and employees, which as dashers for the restaurant, we too are working employees for the restaurants and DoorDash assisting with the revenue that both companies make. She had let the team lead know on said order to which they responded with irritation that they were now working on it. At this time, the team-lead instructed the new hire that it was now a good time for them to learn how to make a wrap. Now 20 minutes into waiting for this order. The team lead was rudely instructing and criticizing the new hire on most details of her work which clearly will improve with time as it is unnecessary to treat her with such mannerisms of emotional instruction regardless of how he must be feeling after a long day of work. As a higher up in the restaurant ( if that is his role) a better example must be set as this kind of tension in a sandwich food chain is unnecessary especially when customers and fellow employees are present. Needless to say, It took over 30 minutes for the employees to make a mobile order for DoorDash which was clearly there prior to a couple of the customers arriving. Although, they did irritatingly provide us with a cup for ice water...
Read moreThis place sucks, I came here twice to make sure I got a good insight on the place before I gave a review. Anyways, first time I came here I wanted their philly sub but I looked at the cooking grill and it was not so great looking ( a nice way of saying it was effin disgusting). So instead I opted for the cold cuts. Their selection of bread sucks, and their is no option to toast anything. There veggies & toppings are also limited. This place just doesnt seem to have much. Another time I visited here the grill was cleaner so I got the philly beef asked for no onions and I got onions anyways. I told her about it and she put her gloves back on most likely to make a new one. I told her I was in a rush and I already had been waiting a while for the first sandwich. I asked her for a refund and she gave me a free sanwhich card instead. I said no I would like a refund. She gave me a disapproving look and gave me part of my money back because I had taken some sips out of my drink. And you know whats funny from all of this? At the POS machine when you are ready to slide your card it ask to leave a %20 tip. I did not tip them, its a friken fast food place, not Long Horns Steak House. I will not be coming back here. I gave this place 2 chances as I do with every other place. My Review is fair and unbiased. One star has been recommended by myself as well as my colleagues who have visited this place in the past. There is a Qdoba next , door. Save yourself the dissatisfaction and go there instead. If anyone has any questions or concerns feel free to reach out to me on my profile. Thank...
Read moreOVER PRICED AND UNDER QUALITY: First and last time I'll eat there. People in Jersey must eat bricks with sandwich meat. The staff were friendly but the sandwich was sub-PAR! The bread was dried out and hard, the tuna fish was bland. The topping choices we're 1/3 of what Subway offers, did not include any type of cheese choice, and the sandwich cost me TWICE AS MUCH AS SUBWAY; and it wasn't even half as good. My 6-INCH tuna fish sandwich from Jersey Mike's cost me $8.09! Then there was the social-pressure solicitation trick used on the card machine. You have to select a "tip amount" before you can pay for your crappy sandwich. With the college kid standing there staring at you. Though, it's not their fault, the franchisee is setting their prices and supplying the materials.
A foot-long tuna fish sandwich from Subway costs half as much, has twice as much inside of it, I can have anything I want on it (like any of 6 types of cheese), and I have never been stabbed I'm the roof of my mouth by petrified bread shards.
Did I mention there's no bread choices?...
This place is a joke that definitely leads me to believe the owners are simply trying to take advantage of Soldiers' lack of food choices on Ft. Carson. By the time a young Soldier gets off-post to get their food, they're going to pay the extra, because they won't have time to get food anywhere else.
Makes me think this franchise was created by a former AAFES...
