I wouldn’t even rate them a star at all. the service was terrible, everyone was rude and in a bad mood all around, i assume because it was busy. I came in with a party of 3, we were polite and respectful to everyone and waited patiently for a table. They even skipped us and were rude about that. Every waitress i spoke to there had some type of attitude towards myself and the others at the table. Now, i got avocado toast and what i received i couldn’t even believe. They put each half of the avocado on each slice of toast (see picture). Didn’t mash it or cut it at least. Burnt the toast and put a TON of salsa on it and it wasn’t even ripe so when i went to try to spread it myself, the toast flew out of my hand. After that i simply just didn’t touch my food i was so angry. Our waitress passed us multiple times and acknowledged i wasn’t touching my food, but didn’t say a word until we asked for the check. When i told her what was wrong and expressed that i couldn’t even eat it if i wanted to, she said “well that’s what they want you to do you’re supposed to do it yourself”. Now i have never gone to a place and got avocado toast like that. It’s not normal, it shouldn’t have left the kitchen like that. I’ll never go back after this experience truthfully. Definitely don’t recommend coming here at all.

"Friendly Service with Classic Diner Vibes" We recently stopped by Arlington Diner in Stroudsburg, PA, and had a pleasant breakfast experience. The diner has a cozy interior, and we were warmly welcomed by the host, who genuinely empathized with our 15-minute wait—a refreshing attitude for such a busy spot. The staff were patient, well-mannered, and quick to assist. We tried several breakfast items: scrambled eggs, bacon, home fries, toast, and a Benedict. The scrambled eggs and home fries were straightforward, though a bit plain, with just seared potatoes and no added veggies like onions or peppers. Unfortunately, the toast had a bit of mold, but the waiter immediately replaced it with a fresh batch, showing excellent customer service. The highlight was the Eggs Benedict—the Hollandaise sauce was fantastic, and my wife even requested extra on the side for the home fries. We also ordered a cheeseburger, which had great flavor with fresh, juicy lettuce and tomatoes, and French toast that looked simple but surprised us with a good flavor. Overall, Arlington Diner provided a quick and flavorful experience (aside from the toast mishap), and I’d recommend it for a classic, tasty breakfast if you're passing through Stroudsburg. Service: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (5 stars) Food: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (4 stars)

I came here for breakfast with some friends the morning after attending a wedding at the Stroudmoor Inn. Let me tell you, this place hit the spot! To kickstart my day, I had a cup of coffee and the Eka-Sallent Big Boi Sandwich. It was the perfect remedy after a fun night at the wedding, exactly what I needed to rejuvenate me. As for my friends, they got omelets, french toast, scrapple, and bagels, and everyone had an equally great breakfast. What set the Arlington Diner apart was their exceptional staff. They were a very friendly and accommodating bunch. From the moment we walked in, they were accommodating to our 5 person group. They seemed genuinely happy to be there, and their responsiveness in keeping our coffee cups full and attending to our needs during the meal was great. The diner was busy on that Sunday morning, but they handled it like seasoned pros, seating the five of us with ease. If you're concerned about wait times on a weekend morning, it's unlikely you'll have to wait long, if you do. The overall experience was fantastic. The food was delicious, the atmosphere welcoming, and the staff top-notch. If you're visiting from out of town, this place is a must-try. And if you're a local, well, you probably already know all about this gem! 😉

Arlington diner is one of my favorite places to go to eat my favorite food at the restaurant is chip beef on toast, but they only serve it on Thursday and I can never seem to get there on that day their food is just fantastic. I took my twin grandsons there and they were so nice to them my boys had a fabulous time the food was off the wall one of my grandsons went to school for cooking and he said the food was great they had a breakfast sandwich that was like triple Decker and had everything and anything in it and they loved it the girl came back and asked them if they wanted another one they truly enjoyed that restaurant. I take my friend there to show her that the 10 or $15 that you spend at a fast food restaurant you could sit down and enjoy your meal and pay even less sometimes and have a well-rounded meal. I would suggest this restaurant to everybody it's coming in to Stroudsburg it's over on North 9th Street I would say I don't think it's open all the time it may be closed early but if you can get there when that restaurant is open take your family you won't be disappointed. I would suggest this place also for travelers if you get off the main Street exit on 80 as you come off the ramp you're going to this would be heading to New York when you come off the ramp make a left once you get down to the bottom and then you're going to go up the road a bit and then you're going to see a small road that's worse off to the right take that road go all the way out and go up to the light at the light and make another right and then you go down past the mall passed all the fast foods keep going you'll go to see Walgreens keep going and then once you get to pass Walgreens you're going to see Arlington diner which is going to be off to your left. Disgusting! Not my first time here but definitely the last! I can't tell you my servers name because she never even told us. Ordered 2 coffees 2 waters and 1 orange juice . She brought us 2 orange juices. I didn't say anything because that wasn't too big of a deal. I waited 15 min for a cup of soup. Soup was lukewarm. The omelette comes 1 minute later which was annoying. The omelette was so gross. The spinach was old. Obviously they used cooked spinach that has been sitting back in their kitchen for who knows how long. I was willing to accept the fact that I was going to have to pay for that bad omelette and just wanted to atleast get the soup heated up. I tell her to go heat the soup and the 10 minutes late I was still waiting for it to come back out. Finally after asking where the soup is she brings it out colder than it was the first time . Oh and by the way the toast I was supposed to get with my omelette went into the garbage. She forgot to bring that to me and the whole time it was just sitting on the counter in front of us. At this point im so upset since now I basically never ate anything. She takes forever to give us a check when all I want to do is get the hell out of there. I see the check and she charged us for Everything!!!!!!! The owner asks how everything was and I told him it was awful. I explained everything that was wrong and his response was " we make millions of omelette and have never gotten 1 complaint". I couldn't believe he said that. As if I'm the crazy one. Then he told me I Shouldve said something and I said I DID ! Bottom line we still paid fill price for Everything. It was the worst experience I've ever had and now I'm sitting in Panera bread waiting for my food since I'm hungry . Don't go...
