SOO GLAD I DECIDED TO STOP HERE! I found the sofa I wanted at Ashley. I also needed a reclining loveseat. After sitting in dozens of them, I found one that I thought would be as comfortable as they get. I planned to return to Ashley the next day to pay for everything BUT EFO outlet was nearby so I figured why not stop and I'm SO SO glad I did! EFO had the EXACT same sofa for $400 less than what I would have paid at Ashley!! I couldn't believe it! Ofcourse I went to check out their reclining love seats and I couldn't believe how comfortable they were! I went from pretty much "settling" on a loveseat from Ashley assuming it was the best I'd find for comfort to absolutely falling in love with 2 reclining love seats from EFO! I saved nearly $1,000 for the EXACT same sofa and a reclining loveseat! I was exhausted after spending nearly 2 hours in Ashley but so so glad I trusted my gut and went to EFO after. I went from planning to buy a sofa and reclining loveseat I was "settling" for to walking in EFO,finding the same sofa for $400 less and a reclining loveseat that I absolutely love. This loveseat was also $400 cheaper than the one I would have settled for at Ashley. On top of all that, can't forget Mike, the EFO sales gentleman that assisted me and helped make the process easy and understandable. He went ABOVE AND BEYOND, spent alot of time explaining different things and even talking over the phone with me about my options. He was extremely patient, helpful, personable and always happy to help wanting to ensure I was completely happy. He always had a smile on his face and wasn't bothered when having to answer my same questions again and again. I recommend this furniture store over any other. They saved me alot of money and offer alot of the same furniture as competing furniture stores for far less. As far as reclining loveseats, they offer all in one, comfort and quality. I usually don't post this long of a review but I was elated at my experience and purchase so the review is the least I can do to show just how much I appreciate EFO and to also inform others questioning what and where to buy. This review is also to thank Mike and the other staff at EFO that helped me. EFO truly saved me ALOT of money,headache and settling for a loveseat from Ashley that was much more expensive. Thank you EFO for making furniture shopping not so dreadful! They're a true one stop shop when it comes to furniture! If you're debating on where to get furniture,dreading it,feeling overwhelmed, go to EFO!! They sell furniture from the same manufacturers that are in other furniture stores but for far more cheaper! Also, don't believe someone telling you recliners only allow a certain comfort level bc their structure. EFO proved that to be wrong, they do not sacrifice quality for comfort. Some of the manufacturers even have 5 year cushion/mechanical coverage which means they're very confident in their furniture!! THANK YOU...
Read moreWe love to support small businesses. Unfortunately this time, our customer service is making us rethink that support. We purchased a dining room set from EFO in Wilkes-Barre. We ordered it in January and finally received it in September. We expected a delay because of COVID, but not that long. That was red flag #1. When we received delivery of the dining room set, the table and cabinet had nicks on them and the chair seat cushions were stained. Red flag #2. The delivery people took pictures of the damage and said they would report it to the company. We also called the company and reported the damage. They said they would contact someone to come out and look at the dining room set. Just to have someone come look at the furniture and evaluate the damage took another month and a half. Red flag #3. The person came out after we waited all day for the appointment and said they would go back to EFO to determine the next step. Another month and a half later, someone came out to fix the damage, but they could only fix some of the damage because they did not have a work order to fix all the damage. Red flag #4. While the employees at EFO were wonderfully nice and very willing to sell us furniture, their furniture quality and follow-up customer service leaves a lot to be desired. Read moreI just want to update my review here.. The company did refund my full deposit. I did appreciate the fact that they did this. My main issue was the lack of communication, I would have continued to wait patiently for the furniture had I been notified when promised. As I said, EFO did refund my money.
If it were possible to give a ZERO star rating I would have. My wife and I ordered furniture back in mid July, we were told 8 to 10 weeks and left a non-refundable deposit. It is now November 8th and we have NOTHING. They never called us once to explain any delay. Upon calling them the first time we were told the love seat was in their warehouse and the sofa was in route to the store. A month later, after hearing nothing again we proceed to call them..we are told the sofa has not yet been built. From being delivered to not even being built, no phone calls were ever made to us to explain what was happening. We’ve had to chase them down every time for no info at all. We were told a manager would call us back after our 2nd attempt, that was 2 weeks ago and I’m still waiting for the call. Do yourself a huge favor, go to Raymore & Flanagan or ANY other store. As I’ve said, if I could give Zero stars that’s what they would get. Not a very professional way to run a business. Think very hard about buying anything from this store. ...
