I waffled on this rating. It's been some time since we've been there. Last visit was horrible. It was also over a year ago. We decided to give it another try. It was better but still lacking. There was some renovation work done. Place was looking good. We didn't have a reservation but it was only about a 5 minute wait for a table. We got seated. We figured out what we were going to have. No server. The hostess came by to seat another table and asked if we had seen our server. We replied in the negative. The hostess got someone to take our order. The wife got the NY strip steak in bourbon sauce and a cup of broccoli cheese soup. I got the cavatappi pisano which was cavitappi with shrimp, chicken and bacon in a creme sauce. I got a side salad with ranch and the broccoli cheese soup. We also got an order of garlic parmesean wings. The soups and salad came out quickly as did our beverages. The soup, while quite tasty, was tepid. The salad was good. Greens were crispy and fresh. Our meals came out. The wife's NY strip was good. The cavatappi pisano was exceptional. It came with a huge hunk of garlic bread, nice size shrimp and chicken bits. It was loaded with bacon and sun dried tomatoes as well. The wings however, never made an appearance. In a way, I was relieved. The portion sizes here are huge. We took half of it home. I would love to give OPP a higher rating but I can't. The food was much better than it was during our prior visit. We could not have been happier with the chow. The service there is always lacking somehow. We always seem to have some issue be it an incorrect order, nasty staff or the always popular, being forgotten about. Maybe going during dinner isn't the right move. We'll go back. Probably not soon and certaiy not during dinner. Perhaps the service is better at lunch. It's a shame really because the food...

My 4 friends and I came to the poconos, from Binghamton NY, for my 32nd birthday. Spent the entire day at Aquatopia waterpark, and wanted to go out to dinner. We were dropped off by an uber (20 minute drive), and walked in. Greeted immediately by a lovely server, and sat outside in their back patio. Myself, my partner, and one of my friends ordered drinks. Only three of us were able to tell the server our drink orders before they walked away. For some reason, they had to take our IDs to the bartender “to be checked”. I had zero problem with that, but getting cut off was very rude. The server never came back, but the bartender did. They proceeded to say we couldn’t be served, because one of the IDs was fake. We asked which one, and they said “you should know” then rolled their eyes. I asked well, which one… because we all are WELL over the age of 21. Somehow MY ID was deemed fake (I am the oldest person as well), and the bartender wasn’t able to definitively say why. It was quite obvious we weren’t wanted there, and they didn’t want to serve us. My partner and I are a lesbian couple, and it was very apparent that was the reason we weren’t wanted there. For some reason the owner thought/was told we had been to three bars prior to theirs… which is impossible. I just wish the bartender/server could’ve politely said they didn’t want to serve us.
We left, and didn’t get anything else. All I wanted was a really good cheeseburger, and a couple drinks. Every. Single. Person at our table works in the restaurant industry… i have been a bartender for 13 years, and have NEVER been treated so horribly.
If you are a part of the LGBTQ+ community, I do not recommend coming here. It is not a safe...

We ordered Asian Spring Salad with shrimp (per menu), chili cheese fries, and garlic Parm wings.
Asian Spring Salad was beyond bland. You know when you purchase a tub of spring mix, use it once and it sits in the back of the fridge for a week and a half and some parts of the salad get black a mushy? That was what I got. 7 pieces of shrimp that were so overcooked and tasteless we had a hard time figuring out how they were cooked. They didn't even taste salty, which is hard considering they come from the ocean. No shrimp flavor. Just tough pieces of blandness. Mandarin oranges were again, subpart and low in flavor. Zero freshness in this salad.
Garlic Parm wings: unflavored breaded wings. Season every step people! Or at least something on the dish. Garlic Parm was butter base with minimal garlic. Parmesan was absent. I will say, that the wings were crunchy at least. Point for texture.
Chili cheese fries: huge portion of fries, decent chili. Ours had shredded cheese melted on it, except for one end of the plate that had nacho cheese. Don't know what that was about.
Atmosphere: smelled like it was 100 years old, which hey, it is but that's not appealing at all. Did have a nice patio area, but we chose to sit inside.
Overall: clearly this place is not up to my standards and I definitely won't be back. What floored me is that my dining partner (who often shrugs at bland food and is easily satisfied) was also disappointed. Also, the waitress didn't know her own menu and attempted to charge us $9 for the 7 overcooked bland shrimp that was...
