In the past, I have been a fan of Red Robin’s in Bartonsville. This last experience tonight turned me off from them for good. I usually bring my family of 4 to this location once or twice a month to enjoy a nice meal. Taylor R. was not a great server tonight. I don't know if it was busy night, the incompetence or maybe she just didn't care. First glance, you would think she was a great server and you would get good service but this was not the case. When we first sat down the table was dirty and underneath the table was croutons and just garbage. The manager had to apologize about that while seating us. Me and my partners meals were made wrong. Both were undercooked burgers, he didn't have what he ordered on the burger (over easy egg) and they were cool to the touch. My partner finally received the egg and cheese sauce he ordered 10 minutes later but the food was cold and unacceptable. He lost his appetite and just wanted to leave. At that point, Taylor R. finally asked if she can re ring the burger and fries in SINCE I have my egg and cheese sauce in front of me now. I politely declined so his burger was taken of the bill. I didn't want to complain about my meal because we were already unsatisfied and we were really hungry and my kids needed to eat. I asked for fries twice because she never asked us for refill on the bottomless fries. Then after 15-20 minutes, she finally bought 4 orders of fries over and I was the only one getting fries. I guess she was trying to shut me up from asking or being sarcastic. My kids drinks were water instead of lemonade. She never came to apologize or tell us the food was taking longer then normal , or ask for drink refills (until i put the cups at the VERY front of the table so she can see). The bill ended up being more then it would have been if my partners meal was on it because it was kids eat free night so I ended up paying for the kids meals and sundae which is ridiculous. Last but not least, she messed up my bill. She took off my regular gourmet burger instead of my partners burger, sweet potato fries, cheese sauce on the bill. I ended up paying way more money then I wanted to for cold food and bad service.
Luke, the manager did come see my table at the very end of the meal, when I paid and was ready to stand up and leave and offered a complimentary card for next time. Honestly, it doesn't help me or my family because I wasted so much time and my money here and we still had to go and get dinner somewhere else afterwards and...
Read moreHonestly what's to say about the atmosphere of a Red Robin gourmet burger joint? They're pretty much designed all the same they have to be. So let's start from the top as far as the food was concerned when we first got there we were seated the young man seen as though he was not interested in serving us at all. I get it I get it it was late it was time for him to get ready to go home but even still customer service is what's key when it comes to working with people parrot I always believed if you don't want to meet people and interact with people then own your own job and service animals. However his old attitude change his old his old attitude his attitude and energy change once we ask for the manager because he bought us a plate of cold food. Why was our food cold from the beginning there was no one in there other than three other couples and they left after eating? I just don't get it nonetheless when the manager came whose name was Samantha, she took our complaints and saw and felt the temperature of the food was indeed cold and agreed that we should have been served hot food. And yes I get it the staff has been working like slaves all day long but they are still no excuse to be served hot food what does it take? Nonetheless Samantha made everything much better the food that was served thereafter was hot the attitude of the gentleman's serving was better. And he continues to check on us to make sure everything was okay. Samantha manage the situation she interacted properly and she even discounted us, what she did not have to we were willing to pay for our hot meals but thank you just the same. We gave the tip a proper tip just to let the waiter know when you step up you get paid up and that's the way it should be I've been in customer service for over 13 years and just want to say Samantha good job. Will I be back probably not and it has nothing to do with the place it's just that I don't normally eat at Red Robin. I just remember being a kid going to Red Robin with my mom for the french fries and I had to experience them again. So on that note if you go to this Red Robin make sure you are served your food hot if it is a hot serve food. If not ask for the manager asked the manager. If a Samantha she'll straighten things...
Read moreThis was hands down the worst restaurant experience I have ever had in my life. My friends and I decided to go here for my birthday and what a huge mistake. Our waitress, Tiffany, brought our food but no sauces with our chicken wings/fingers and no salad dressing. So we waited.... and waited... asked her twice.... then three times... and then she decided to write it down. Well, then 20 minutes passed. Nothing. We were eventually able to flag down one of the other wait staff that was just standing around. Tiffany seemed confused when she showed up at our table, WITHOUT THE SAUCES AGAIN, and we were explaining the horrible experience to her equally incompetent manager. My husband finished his entire meal before I even got the sauce I was waiting for and by that time the chicken was cold and my friend lost her appetite for her salad since she already ate the actual meal part. I asked for a new basket, which came, but I lost my appetite, too, especially when they tried to charge me for 2 meals! Tiffany was so clueless we laughed in her face when she asked if we enjoyed our meal. It was so uncomfortable I just really wanted to get out of there at this point. I waited tables for years and I am usually extremely sympathetic to wait staff, but this was ridiculous! It was a Sunday evening- barely anyone there- no excuses. The manager did absolutely nothing to reconcile the situation. We paid for our entire meal, even though I barely even ate a thing. We have been here many times. My husband has had company meals here, we've had birthday parties with 20 people on multiple occasions. We will never, ever, come back here. I am disgusted and I will make sure I tell everyone I know and share this review on every site I can think of. Thanks for the awful birthday dinner, Tiffany; I hope you find a career in retail because this isn't...
