Gas 🔥 and I’m not talking about it being parked next to the chevron on ocean blvd. Order at the orange truck to watch all the action. Nice aroma in the air. 15 minutes and my food was ready. Chill vibe where you can dine at the bright orange eating areas with lawn chairs + picnic table. Thai food outside on a breezy day is a freaking vibe. I got shrimp fried rice and 12 wings. The wings were a nice medium size and smelled + tasted like soy sauce, garlic, and other spices. Could use some rice with it. Seasoned very well and lightly crispy on outside when cooked fresh. Juicy and succulent and the mild and spicy sauces complimented the wings. I liked both and the owner even made the sauce spicier for my taste. Mild is flavorful and just right for everyone, but don’t be shy in trying the spicy. It won’t blow your palate. Trust. Just 6 wings were very filling for me so you could feed 2-3 people with 12 and a side of rice. The fried rice had a very ideal type of fragrance from the wok and I see they cook almost everything fired up in that thang. I knew by the look and the aroma that it would hit the spot, but the first bite was total confirmation. Well seasoned and balanced textures with extra long grain jasmine rice (which I find unique), fresh vegetables: carrots, onions + green onions/scallions, and succulent medium large sized shrimp. Mild, not spicy but I’m sure they can adjust the level to your needs. I recommend adding some wing sauce to your fried rice for an extra kick of flavor. Lime adds some nice brightness & acidity to cut through the bit of oil. Probably the best shrimp fried rice I’ve had in some time. “Perfectly balanced… as all things should be.” - Thanos.
