So to start, the food here is excellent. But the services is as bad as it can get. I have ordered there fives times in the last two months. Every time I order they tell me 15 minutes. All but one time it has been over 30 minutes and one time it was actually 45 minutes. Today I ordered two small shrimp fried rice to go and when I arrived after 25 minutes later (not 15 like they said, on purpose) and the food was not ready. A man sitting there waiting told me he had been waiting 35 minutes for his 15 minute order. There was no one eating in the restaurant, so there are no excuses for the delay. So I just about lost it and asked the boy at the front why they lie about the 15 minutes when it is always 30 or more. He disagreed, got defensive, and I thought he was about to cry. And finally, when my food finally came, it was short one shrimp fried rice. As I stated, the food is excellent but the service is horrible, so be prepared for...
Read moreI love great chinese food and i do compare to many different locations in our area. First time at this location for us. 3 star bordering around 2 star here. Diner portions are much smaller than average lunch portion from 5 other restaurants even during pandemic as per covid situation we are in. Fried rice is a bit off in texture and the flavor is questionably different than average, not terrible. Beef was very tough compared to other cooking practices and perhaps not tenderized as per many others. A bit pricey for a diner portion and i will order again a different dish and lunch portion next time to update this review. All in all, its not the worst place to enjoy a healthier dish. Egg rolls were not good at all and due to this a 1 star automatic drop, winter rolls seemed to be a almost mashed potato texture that also failed my taste buds and food...
Read moreMay 17, 2020. First time trying this restaurant. I ordered take out. Egg rolls, shrimp fried rice and General Tso's Chicken combination dinner. Egg rolls were ok but rather small. Difficult to taste as the filling was very little, the egg roll wrap was at least 50% of the egg roll. Most egg rolls I am familiar with have a bit more filling. Shrimp fried rice was good with large plump shrimp that were cooked all the way through. General Tso's Chicken, at first was lacking flavor and the broccoli was under cooked. As I ate more, the chicken was tasty and I realized the restaurant failed to toss the the chicken well enough in the sauce. Hope the restaurant fixes these minor "quirks" and they will be well on their way to doing a great business. Despite the negatives in these comments, this is the best Chinese restaurant in Stuart,...
