Although this was my first time here, it wasn't my father's or daughter in law's and they raved about it.

So we were coming back from running errands for my father who lives in Jensen Beach and no longer drives so he suggested Anna's as a treat for taking him on his errands on the way home.

A number of things I noticed right away. The place was very small number one. Number two, it was very noisy from the giant industrial fans that were proped up on the walls to keep the kitchen staff cool. Number three, this establishment ONLY accepts cash period end of story. And number four, they are VERY EXPENSIVE!

We ordered a the, "Whooper" the largest Pizza they sell 24"! And it comes with a whooper of a price, $26 (plus) $4.00 for ea additional topping. We choose to get 1/2 Ch and 1/2 pepperoni and (I tbought) Green peppers. Along with 3 cans of Soda. For a whooping total of $60! 😲

We were given a 20 minute time to wait and so sat down and waited and waited and waited. That 20 minutes came and went as did many customers but we still waited. Finally after 40 long minutes, my daughter in law got up and asked how much longer? He said, oh it's been ready, WHAT?!

He knew we were waiting and waiting right there in the booth! Why wouldn't he come tell us or even yell over the counter? We were NOT happy!

You would think if someone spent $60 on a Pizza, they would be kind enough to tell us it's been done!

The size of this pie was pretty darn big, see my photos! And as for the taste, I have to admit now I know why my Dad and daughter in law raved about it, because it was delicious! I wasn't particularly happy though that the "peppers" we ordered, were (not) green peppers but sweet red/orange peppers. He also did not disclose that when we ordered either and I specifically said, green peppers.

So this is why the service is only 2 stars because of the wait and the peppers. Atmosphere I gave a generous 3 stars, too small and loud. Food, definitely 5 stars!

So next time you have a bunch of cash in your wallet you should...

Let me tell you about this little pizzeria.... That has somehow translated itself from Jersey (tho they've never been!!!) to a little nook in Jensen Beach FL..... The place is unassuming, get out of your car walk to the door and with a pull of the handle you're now inside a place where the aroma of Italian food caresses your memories bringing you.... back to Street festivals with their Zeppoli covered in powered sugar!! ... Or a feast of mouthwatering Eggplant Spaghetti and Meatballs at your Nonis, or just hanging on the corner eating the best Pizza in town.... The food they prepare and serve is delicious although that doesn't give credit, and you receive an abundant portion ! !! Enough for two nights dinner. A large variety of choices of dishes antipasto to Veal, chicken.. to stuffed shells plus Zeppoli !! .... The people that work their are welcoming and warm. A return visit to Anna's is like returning to your childhood memories.... Of course I'll go back !!! Again and again ....

I've had original Anna's Pizza on several occasions and each time I am left with the feeling that the customer service I'm givin over the phone leaves a little to be desired. However, I find the pizza to be more than satisfactory otherwise I would not have bothered to frequent this establishment again. Please be advised they do not accept cards as they are cash only. I'm a little perplexed over my last interaction with original Anne's, I called to order a pizza for carryout, I was told that it would probably be 40 to 55 minutes. I can understand a 45-55 minute wait for delivery but it seems unreasonable for carryout.... 15 to 25 minutes seems to be the standard amount of time to wait for carryout. The pizza although being satisfactory is not satisfactory enough for me to wait such a substantial amount of time. I'll be going around the corner to...

Came on a Saturday night. They closed at 9pm we got there at 8pm. We were sat and full by 8:45pm. Portion sizes are HUGE so come hungry. We ordered a couple of slices and a chicken parm to split. The chicken parm came in a BIG to go container so yummy leftovers for tomorrow. There is a cooler in the front where you grab your drinks. The owner personally brought us our salads and garlic knots, after she went over every single pizza option we could choose from of course. This is a local joint and I even heard someone say they drove from Saint Lucie west for a couple of slices. The food is delicious. I had to grab a couple of Canolis to go. Grand total $50 including a tip! Sweet! Close to a local park so maybe we'll grab a sub for lunch next time. 😎

77 dollars CASH ONLY, for everything you see which was Anna's pasta special combo with Spaghetti A La Puttanesca included a hand full of garlic knots . I thought everything was good and I definitely enjoyed the garlic knots being perfectly baked and NOT drenched in oil. Family of 5 it was enough to feed us all. The atmosphere could definitely be updated, other then that it's your usual pizzeria vibe. This location is CASH ONLY , NO credit cards accepted...
