After reading the other reviews I thought this park would be something wonderful, but turned out to be just ok. There's some information about plants that grow there along the trail as you go to the end of the park trail. Once you reach the end, there's a bench and table that overlook the bridge and water in the distance. WARNING, as of recent there's a blue/green algae out-break in the water that is considered toxic and dangerous. Upon arrival there was a strong smell that resembled solid waste and come to find out there was solid waste washed up by the shoreline along with the algae. Before arriving I researched this place on Google maps and thought it would be a great place to launch my kayak from, but I was luckily stopped by a journalist stating I'd risk my health attempting to do so. The local news was there also ready to do a report on how the blue/green algae had become out of control with the worst of it being located at the shoreline of Rio Nature Park.
