Beautiful clean and conveniently located restaurant. (take note, if going over the Roosevelt Bridge you'll have to make a u-turn to get east of us 1, due to work on the bridge). Parking is available directly near the restaurant or a little ways before it. There is ample outside and open air seating all around the restaurant, so great for the social distancing. It is directly overlooking the water and near the docks, so arrival by boat is super convenient as well. The staff is genuinely friendly and knowledgeable of all its items on the menu. They def go the extra mile to make your dining experience a pleasure. Also they offer happy hour every day from 4 to 6pm I believe. We ordered the following: Ceaser salad (both crispy and grilled chicken) - very fresh and the right amount of dressing (did not overdo it) Ahi poke nachos - wow, super fresh and just light, delicious! Buffalo chicken dip (recommended instead of the freedom fries) - amazing, not too greasy not too spicy, super cheesy! Really really good Smoke fish dip - great smoked fish flavor, and super fresh Formaggio - great flavor, the toasted garlic made it even better. Could've been slightly crisper in my opinion, but good overall. (I suggest, based on our awesome waitress [Jessica] putting some of the buffalo dip on top of it, wow! So good) Clam chowder - pretty good, loads of clams in it Chimi chicken sandwich - what a sandwich! Packed with soo much flavor and cooked perfectly, def recommend trying this if you stop by. Fried fish and fried rice dish - fish was soo good, and perfectly cooked. The rice a little too much sauce for my liking, but not that bad. Cheesecake - courtesy of the waitress/house was soooooo soooo good. Not too creamy or dense, and def tasted like it was homemade (made by the manager in house). Had the perfect amount of sweetness and tang. Finally we had green tea shots - on point with flavor and balance of alcohol, tasted like juice! Coconut mojito - could use a bit more alcohol but good subtle flavor. Skinny margarita - pretty good. Pink lemonade drink - on point with flavors as well. Def recommend coming here and will def come back. Shout out to our waitresses Jessica and her colleague.

Let me start by saying that while the food at TideHouse is delicious (and believe me, I could talk about it for days), what truly sets this place apart is its epic staff. From the managers to the hostess, and especially the bartenders, It boasts a team that goes above and beyond to make every visit exceptional. Epic Bartenders: First, let’s talk about Britney. She’s not just amazing at her job; she exudes professionalism, care, and fun in everything she does. Her service is top-notch, and her genuine smile lights up the room. And how can I not mention her beautiful dog Prada – hearing about Prada (being a dog lover) always brings a smile to my face and adds an extra layer of warmth to the TideHouse experience. Then there’s Natalie – her attention to detail and her customers is exceptional. Plus, we share a love for “Vin Diesel movies” 😂,which always brings a smile to my face. Managers: The managers at TideHouse are constantly hustling, always there to support their staff and ensure a seamless experience for guests. Kudos to Lex and Amelia for their dedication and willingness to go above and beyond. Amelia, the bar manager, is a beer aficionado who is quick to recommend the perfect brew and chat about the different kinds of beer they carry. And Ashton, always sporting a big smile, adds to the welcoming atmosphere. Friendly Service: While I may not know the names of every server and hostess, I must give them all a shoutout; in particular to the blonde young lady in the white skirt and black shirt and the air walks to compliment the outfit 😂! Whom though I am not at her table she’s quick to say hi and have a friendly chat while at the service bar area. Even when the restaurant is bustling, the staff never fails to greet you with a smile and engage in friendly chat. This is everything I see while I’m enjoying my time at the bar. Overall Experience: TideHouse is a restaurant that’s constantly buzzing with energy, thanks to its incredible staff. The warmth and friendliness they exude make every visit feel like a special occasion. I can’t express enough how much I appreciate the effort they put into creating an epic experience for patrons like me. Conclusion: To the team at TideHouse – you guys rock! Your dedication to exceptional service and your infectious smiles truly makes this place stand out. I know I am writing for many of my friends, especially our big trivia group every Wednesday. I myself will miss you all when I depart up the coast for the summer, but I’ll eagerly be looking forward to returning in the fall. Keep it up, TideHouse Crew– you are all EPIC!...

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Tide House to celebrate my sister-in-law’s birthday, and while there were a few initial hiccups, the overall experience left a positive impression. Upon arrival, my food took longer to arrive than expected, and we did encounter a few minor issues with our dishes. However, what stood out was the restaurant’s exceptional commitment to customer satisfaction. The server was personable, attentive, and quick to address any concerns, while the manager took the time to personally apologize for the delay and, as a gesture of goodwill, didn’t charge us for the delayed food. This level of customer care speaks volumes about their dedication to creating a positive dining experience.

The atmosphere of Tide House was equally commendable—warm, inviting, and perfectly suited for a casual yet enjoyable meal. The ambiance was neither too formal nor too relaxed, striking a balance that made for a pleasant and comfortable dining experience. The service, without question, was the highlight of the evening; the team’s responsiveness and attentiveness created an atmosphere where we felt genuinely valued as guests.

Regarding the cuisine, Tide House’s focus on seafood is clear. The presentation of each dish was visually appealing, and the dishes exuded a fresh, inviting aroma that only heightened my anticipation. While I found the burger I ordered to be somewhat underwhelming, I’ve heard nothing but praise from regular patrons about the quality and flavor of the seafood, which suggests that my experience with the burger may be an outlier. Given the restaurant’s reputation for its seafood, I would encourage future guests to focus their attention on those offerings.

In terms of food, I would rate the experience at three stars, not because the food was inherently bad, but simply because the burger didn’t quite meet my expectations. However, factoring in the outstanding service, the inviting atmosphere, and the clear expertise in seafood preparation, I’m inclined to believe that the full experience merits a much higher rating. For those with a particular fondness for seafood, I would strongly recommend Tide House—it’s evident that this is where their culinary strengths...
