I took my dog to Haney Creek because the park we normally go to is closed for maintenance until May 11th. The large dog side us small. There is NO SHADE. There are 2 palm trees in the large side. There is a nature walk that we went on but there are no water spots. So if you take your dog on the nature walk you need to take water. The city needs to plant more trees. The small dog side has only 1 small tree for shade. The city also needs to make the small and large dog enclosure bigger. There is alot of extra land, so they absolutely could make them both larger. Read moreHas the potential to be a great spot to take your dog. First off, had to go there due to resodding of poppleton. Place doesn't look like it's been mowed in a while. Hose looked like it had been broken off a while ago. One advantage over poppleton is there is lots of grass instead of dirt. My dog was happy there was plenty of places to go.
