I'll set the stage. Stopped in just to get a milkshake a few weeks ago for my kid. They had 3 people working food, one at register. Only maybe 3 customer groups there including me and my son.
TLDR - They can't prioritize & work. A family was before us and must've ordered meals. We only ordered a shake. But it was super strange. The family got their meals, but not their drinks. We didn't either. In fact, my son and I were left waiting with no communication for about 10 minutes with nothing. No one was even making them. The family before us ultimately finished their meals but STILL didn't get their shakes. Finally I had to ask about what was happening and the guy at the register couldn't be bothered but did start to make the shakes... but that was only once the growing line after us finally ended.... resulting in a now far more crowded area of people waiting for their drinks/shakes.
So I guess some of the others didn't know how to work the machine, or maybe weren't allowed to make the shakes, etc. I don't know. At times they were just standing there. Only the register guy had the authority. To his credit he did it in order but again, the first family already finished their meals and others were in the process of wrapping up theirs or just watching the sog sink in their togo bags. And again, we had ONLY ordered a shake so were stuck waiting behind the food orders already. Not sure if other Moo-Yas work this way but this...
Read moreI ordered a 1/2 vanilla half strawberry shake. And it tasted like liquid strawberry shortcake. It was absolutely creamy and very delicious. My husband ordered the oreo vanilla shape, and I basically spent the first three minutes that we were here, not talking because he was concentrating on the milkshake, he said it was perfection. Now, for the cheeseburgers, I ordered the lettuce bun bacon cheeseburger. It was juicy, tender, and absolutely flavorful.Ten out of ten better than some burgers that i've paid a lot more for in restaurants. My husband ordered the indulgent barbecue, and the bun appears to be brioche. Has a slight hint of sweetness and indulgent barbecue sauce, fried onion strings and he also reported it to be juicy and delicious. On to the French fries, the regular white potato French fries are yeah, crispy, tender and moist on the inside, but the real highlight in the food department is these otherworldly sweet potato fries? They are crispy on the outside, slightly sweet and incredibly moist and delicious. On the inside, they are fried to absolute perfection. I enjoy sweet potatoes in general and I've had sweet potato fries at probably over 200 restaurants in my life. These are better than any fair that I've been to, better than any restaurant, better than any coastal town cafe. Honestly, the drive here is worth it just for the burger. But when you add the sweet potato fries and the shake, this is a destination, not...
Read moreYesterday I stopped in for 2 large coffee Oreo shakes and a large fry to go and left a tip, as I usually do when I go to the Sudbury location @ once a month. Instead I got 2 coffee shakes and a small fry. When I said I asked for a large fry, I was told that I had to be more specific when ordering. Since when is the smallest size considered a large? I wanted to pay the difference for a large and they wanted me to buy another small one. Then when I was walking out I noticed there were no Oreos in the shakes. Instead of just giving me Oreos in a separate container to add to the shakes, they decided to show me the sizes of the fries that I should have ordered. If I asked for a large fry and the person taking the orders wasn't sure which one I wanted, then he should have asked me to clarify. So much for customer service! I stopped going to the Hudson location because they took a half hour to give me a shake and burger. Now I won't be going to the Sudbury location any more either. I hope the owner trains the employees how to take orders and what customer service is. It's back to Five Guys...
