Hate to share how good this place is because he was already out of a few menu items by the time I got there. To be fair, it was pretty late. The clear winner was the beef seekh kabob with the paratha. There was talk of the lamb chops rivaling Aga’s, so I definitely recommend those as well. The chicken tikkas were cooked to perfection. My first ever time trying Ali food truck at Beachnut street (Boat Basin location) Overall it was 4.5/5 Chargha was probably Houston’s best, Ashars would be number 2 now. Chargha was not too oily, spices were well marinated, not too dry. Cooked to perfection. I believe if it would have tamarind chatney and regular baked naan with it, it was a perfect 5/5. But it is what it is.

I will definitely come again as long as the food quality...

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER! The owner needs to learn how to talk to his customers esp female customers. It was my bad luck that merut kabab was sold out so I had no choice but to order from him. It was definitely my first and last time coming to this truck. It was overpriced for the quantity and the quality of the food.
