We came at around 3:00 AM for Sehri, and boy this place was packed! The decor was attractive and modern, I probably would have taken pictures for Instagram if it was less crowded. It carries over into the food as well, the bottle shake and pouch drinks were adorable! I wish I would have remembered to take nice photos of my food but I was so hungry I totally forgot. The food look very good and they tasted good as well. We ordered food, drinks, and dessert. Oddly enough, our dessert came first! Our chocolate brownie and icecream were delicious albeit the brownie was a bit overcooked and a small part of the middle section was rock hard. Our food slowly trickled out, most probably due to the sheer number of people ordering. Everything we got was delicious, and the waitstaff was always happy to check on any items we were waiting for. The waitstaff was very friendly and helped out table a lot with missing items. Drinks were especially asked after just because we didn’t get them until far after our food! My favorite dishes were the pulled chicken loaded fries and the cookie shake (although it didn’t taste like cookie to me, just a really good chocolate shake). We tried to order chai and parathas around 3:45 and were saddened to learn the kitchen closed at 3:30. Thankfully the staff was able to work around it because we were still waiting on drinks and accommodated our request. I think that the chaos of such a busy dining room made the restaurant a little less efficient than it probably usually is, but the kind waitstaff and great food makes it worth it. I look forward to coming back at a less busy time for...
Read moreBad service. The place appeared to be overstaffed with groups of waiters chatting rather than focusing on people. One in particular was very cavalier. Initially came to me saying an item on our order was not available so do we want a refund. I said yes. After being done with our food I was about to go when I decided to talk to another lady about the order and the refund. The guy casually turned and said that he had not done a refund. Then proceeded back to chatting. My main thing was the bad attitude and also if I had not asked he was comfortable with saying he had given me a refund without actually giving me one. He did not even apologize. Not going to go back as did not like the so called vibe people were reviewing.
Part 2: Thank you for replying to my original comment. You only issued the refund (which is your responsibility as you charged for services you did not deliver) only after I checked. That particular staff NEVER apologized and in fact doubled down and said that he did nothing wrong.
I appreciate your other staff. But you do need training of staff and if they are going to huddle and have their own talk sessions I would advice it not be in the middle of the desk or at least in...
Read moreIt was a hot and sunny Texas day. Nothing like the other ones. I began my travels towards Victoria Texas to discuss matters with a fellow attorney. To the right I saw it, the sign with Filli on it; however, the open sign wasn’t on. Considering the heat and scorching sun, I decided to take a chance in order to quench my thirst along my 2 hour drive in this heat. The disappointment of the door being locked caused tears to run down my face along with the sweat generated from the burning sensation of a thousand suns. I turned around with a feeling of accepting my loss and began to drag myself to my car. That’s when Madiha stopped me as she entered the store, “come back in 15 minutes and we’ll be open and ready to help you.” I explained my dilemma of a long drive and how much better it could be if I can get that sweet nectar from a cold Spiced Zafran Pouch into my system and that I couldn’t wait as time was the enemy in this predicament. She pondered her thoughts for a moment to see how she could help this feeble thirsty man close to suffering from a heat stroke. Madiha told me to follow her inside and prepared the coldest, yummiest, sweetest zafran pouch. I thanked her and worked the...
