I went to this location 2335 highway 6 at about 5.15pm to pick up an order.evrry staff kept walkpast me without asking if I needed something or not.a young man (couldn't get his name)was about to walk past me and I stopped him for help with my order he told me he had no idea because he walked in another part of the restaurant, I said but could you please ask someone he ignored me and walked away. I saw him at the reception, went to him inquiring why he walked away from me,his reply was I don't care, waved me off and walked away. I couldn't believe that just happened so I ask for the manager on duty,he came and I explained what happened and he said he would speak to the staff member but to my surprise, non of the ladies at reception knew him and he was just there.i saw him at a distance and went to point him.out to the manager, getting close to him another staff member walked in front of me and said, leave my staff alone!taking aback I asked him if he was the manager and all he did was glare at me while the manager was behind me,on addressing the staff member he claimed I was yelling at him which never happened. What surprised me was the non challant attitude they all were about the whole incident like it's nothing. There was no sign of control from the manager, no one saw anything wrong in the way I was treated and I was forced to wonder, is this how they treat all customers or is this another case of shopping while black?or maybe it's just a store with bad customer service?this happened on july2nd at 5.15 pm so it's easy to know the...
Read moreWent to Carrabba’s in SugarLand for our son’s 20th Birthday and our first time eating at Carrabba's Italian Grill. Our party consisted of 5 people. Food was good but various other problems. Don’t know if they were saving money on A/C or didn’t want us to linger and spend money or what exactly was going on but it was very warm in the restaurant. We mentioned to our waitress if they could please turn up the A/C, but it never happened. Waitress was pleasant but didn’t seem to move promptly for requests and not attentive enough. We had to request items like can we have Parmesan cheese, drink refills, bag to put to-go containers in, etc. Brought food out and one person’s plate (shrimp & scallops fettuccine) took 10 minutes longer to arrive at our table than all the other plates so everyone was waiting to start eating. CRAZY..Pitcher of sangria is $35 when you can go to Olive Garden and get same thing in a pitcher twice the size for $19.99. Ordered a plate to-go home for someone who couldn’t attend and was charged full price for 9 Raviolis only and no salad or soup or anything else offered with meal. Like I stated in the beginning of this review food was good but big disappointment for dine-in & to-go experience. Felt like we had to lead the waitress rather than her being experienced enough to take care of her table...
Read moreThe bottom line for this review is that the food was just average, the waiter was not very attentive, and the restaurant seemed dirty. I debated whether 1 or 2 stars was appropriate.
We visited on a Saturday night with friends (party of 6). We had to wait nearly an hour for a table. But it was a nice night to sit in the outdoor waiting area. I would prefer they have waitstaff out there, but that is a small complaint.
The problems started when we were seated. As we neared the table, near the back of the dining room there was a noticeable unpleasant scent. I think it was the smell of old seafood.
The table shared some fried calamari. It was good. I ordered the chicken arugula. It was just OK. Others at the table were not terribly impressed with their selections.
Our waiter arrived quickly after seating, brought bread, then disappeared for a while. We had to flag him down on more than one occassion. He didn't do anything wrong. But he was not terribly attentive.
Finally, the men's room was not clean. Part of the floor was wet and it smelled of sewage. I could forgive this as a one time issue, but I entered the restroom when we arrived and before we left. Same issue both times, which were about 3 hours apart.
There are many, many better choices in the greater Houston area...
