Edward Mercer Stadium — Attraction in Sugar Land

Fort Bend had the graduation ceremonies here this year (2023) . A horrible experience for 8 AM in late May in Texas. Really was toooo hot. Almost to the point people were getting sick. The valedictorian almost fainted while giving the speech and unfortunately none of the administrators even attempted to help him. Yes the district saved money, yes tickets were not required but at what expense. IT WAS A MISERABLE SETTING FOR SUCH A JOYOUS OCCASION. It was too hot for the babies and the elderly. It was hard to enjoy because people kept getting up out of the stands to leave early. I was happy to see my son graduate but disappointed in the setting. Even the pictures the professional photographer took were horrible because the kids were all sweaty from being in the heat for 2 hours before walking across the stage. I have no investment in FBISD anymore but I hope they please reconsider the...

Edward Mercer Stadium is a great place to catch a game or event. The parking is well-organized and easy to access, which makes arriving and leaving stress-free.
