Today May 15th I placed an order through the mobile app at like 4:30am. There is no one else at the restaurant. I have a rather large and custom order which is why I chose to go through the app rather than the drive thru speaker. I ordered a cheesecake and got a chocolate overload cake instead of a cheesecake. I was informed after handing me my food instead of before that they were out and were giving me a substitution. I don’t eat chocolate. I proceeded to check my food before I left to realize none of my items that I ordered and paid extra for had grilled onions. I wasn’t informed they were out till I drove back through the drive thru line. I paid for grilled onions on two sandwiches. Don’t you think it would be common courtesy to say you’re out of onions before making my food and giving it to me? I ordered Tiny loaded tacos and got them plain. I ordered a sriracha burger no lettuce, not tomatoes, no buttery sauce, add grilled onions, extra sriracha. I received no grilled onions, no jalapeños, no cheese, just bread, sauce, and meat. Do your cooks not know what comes on the sandwiches? This is ridiculous. I used the app and that removes the error in miscommunication. How I wanted my food should have been clear as day. I received my order for the most part completely wrong. When I tried to resolve the issue, I was completely disregarded with ingredients slapped on the same food I was handing back to them and not even correctly. They added the jalapeños and cheese to the sriracha burger and put American cheese instead of Swiss. Again I ask, do they not know how to prepare these sandwiches? What’s worse for me is that I used to work for Jack in the box for 7 years and know how every sandwich even now is made. I went from crew member to an assistant manager of three stores during my time with Jack and this store is one in which I ran prior to 2012. I never would have given a customer their order this messed up. I would have never disregarded food safety in the manner in which they did in pretending to resolve the issue, I would have never been so cold and ignorant about a customers order that I disregarded their concerns and slapped ingredients on food causing it to be touched multiple times before consumed. this was sheer laziness. And this isn’t the first time. Over the last 6 months this kind of thing has happened numerous times and I am sick of it which is why I am hoping this review makes a difference. If the owner of this franchise actually cares about this location and its reputation, they will attempt to make sure that this kind of review doesn’t happen again. it doesn’t have to happen. When I was about to order from the drive through, she (the employee) told me to hold on a second so i was like sure no problem!
