Pho Saigon — Restaurant in Sugar Land

We have eaten here many times...the food is always great! I really like #67, chargrilled chicken lemongrass with noodles! The speed is also great, especially if you're on a lunch break. Try it with their lemon sweet tea! It's the best around! You won't regret it! Thanks y'all! Keep up the delicious speediness!

Update: Came back again, the food is as good as expected. I'm soo loving this place in part because I can always expect good food at a good price. Got the grilled lemongrass steak with vermicelli noodles this time! Awesomely delicious!

1.17.20 update Ordered the #59 again because it's really good! Grilled beef with noodles and veggies mix is always good and healthy! It appears owner was training a newbie...he did good and my food came out fast and delicious! Thanks again y'all!

1.29.20 update Ordered #65 chargrilled sliced pork with veggie noodles only $7.50! This place is fast and great tasting! Eating in like 10 minutes after ordering! If you want extra meat, just ask...it comes in $1 additional increments. Soo good! I have eaten at 3 different locations and always good.

2.29.20 update Had the grilled pork again... Great as usual. For about the same price as McDonald's you can get fresh good food! If your in a rush call in a to go order ahead of time.

Update 9.9.20 We have eaten here many times since last update. Today,Very busy! That's a great thing bc the food is awesome! We came for lunch again today. Service was great, food was great! Glad to see that standards are maintained. Thanks again!

12.2.20 Came in for some Togo food. Once again been here a few times since last update. I have come to really enjoy coming here. They remember their regular customers for sure. Service is always fast and polite. I know that when I come here I can get great food for my money. And its nice that they appreciate their customers here! Thanks again. Family loves it! Ok, this is the first time we tried pho and decided to check this place out. First time for that as well. Our server sat us and took our drink order. It was kind of odd because he just stood there quietly waiting. We told him to give us some more time to order. We ended up ordering a couple of spring rolls and two bowls of pho. Spring rolls came out quick and they were ok. The pho came out quick as well. Another guy from kitchen set down our bowls, quickly turned around and left. Never said a word. It was so quick, I never even saw his face. My wife had ordered the pho with meatballs, but she got the steak instead. No big deal according to her. Either way, our server NEVER returned again to check on us. My wife said her beef was tough. I ordered the pho with steak and tendon. The tendon was actually more tender than the steak. The broth was hot and good, but I don't have enough experience to judge the taste. Noodles were good, not mushy. We thought is was kind of odd how they leave the soup spoons in a help yourself rotary display on the table for anyone to grab. The spoon on top was actually dirty. We also realized you don't wait for the server to deliver your check. You just walk up to the register and they have the checks there.

Overall, the food was ok. Service wasn't good. We just felt out of place compared to other Vietnamese/Asian restaurants. As more diners came in more servers arrived and they seem to be more attentive. I guest we just happened to get stuck with...

This place seemed to be running at warp speed. There were plenty of empty seats when I arrived. As soon as I was seated, the host/waitress expected me to place the order right away. It was my first time visiting this place, so I asked if I can a few minutes to look over the menu. She said OK. 30 seconds later, I was greeted by another waitress, and she wants to know if I am ready. I said no, a few more minutes please. 30 seconds later the first waitress came back, and I just finished reading the appetizer section. So, not yet. 30 seconds later the second waitress returned. Luckily I am familiar with Vietnamese food and my go to item is the pho with various beef parts, so I surrender the menu and went ahead with the order. Don’t get me wrong, their attitude is friendly, but what’s up with the pressure? The pho came to my table in 2 minutes which is incredibly fast. I was in and out in about 20 minutes. The pho broth is a little too salty for my taste, but the meats and vegies are fresh. Well, I don’t know when I will be visiting this place again. If I do, I better be up to the speed if you know...
