I really didn't know you could mess up a beautiful salad. We walked in, and it was a mess. Salad on the floor, salad on the tables. I was shocked it wasn't clean. Got to the line, and we waited for a few minutes to be served. It wasn't that many people in there, but there were several workers. Somebody come get on this lettuce, please lol! My salad was doused with dressing, and I didn't realized it would be too much until I started tossing it in the bowl. It was more dressing than salad. The young lady who checked us out was on her cellphone. I'm thinking I'm sure there is something in the employee handbook that discourages cellphone usage on the line, but I digress. I will stay in my lane. One thing that is also interesting was when we ask a question in English, they began to speak to each other in their native language. Now maybe she speak minimal English and needs translation, but why put her on the cash register? She seemed to have an attitude about our question. The final straw for me was the fire alarm going off and no one says anything. I love salad, but I won't go back to this location in life. Overall, it is not the best experience for such a wonderful concept.

I gave 1 star because the beautiful evening I wanted to spend with my son was unfortunately ruined due to the negligence of the establishment. The restroom door closed very suddenly and quickly, and my 11-year-old son's fingers got caught, causing him a lot of pain. Fortunately, he was wearing his gloves as we were attending the “Snowfall” event in the square, which somewhat protected his fingers, but he was in pain for a long time. We had to leave and go home without being able to enjoy any of the activities. Where can I report this negligence and its consequences? Adding a small device to ensure the door closes slowly is all that’s needed, and this is not a difficult thing to do. If such accidents are likely to happen, you are obligated to make this change so no one else has to go through such an experience and endure this pain. We are deeply upset because our entire evening was ruined, and my little boy was in so much pain. :(

Back at it again with another review. This location acts like it's a crime to ask for more toppings. It makes no sense. 1 scoop of strawberries for a regular salad?? The same scoop you would put if I got a small.. might I add I'm a very frequent customer and I went in once and they charged me for adding extra toppings such as ORANGES, STRAWBERRIES AND CRANBERRIES. I was under the impression that's free especially when I regularly pay $20+ each time I come in. I thought hm.. maybe paying for extra toppings is new. Since that day they never charged for extra again.. so either that was a short term policy or someone stole my money.

Update on August 25, I've been going to Salata Cinco Ranch almost everyday and I am happy with the service. I believe my previous review and talking to costumer service made a big difference. Thank you.

Update on July 31, Went to Cinco Ranch Salata location and they were super nice. I didn't have to feel embarrassed to ask for a second spoon. I even didn't ask for that second except for 1 type cuz I love it but the other veggies, one spoon was good enough cuz it was filled the proper expected way. Also, when I asked how many fruits can I get on the side, they allows 3 which is great and very reasonable! Hopefully, that doesn't change as other locations :) Thank you Salata Cinco Ranch team and thanks to the costumer service who called me to hear more details regarding my concern.

Another update on July 29:

Costumer service sent me an apology email stating the the location manager will contact me to clarify everything. That was on the 21st and until today no one contacted me since. Also, I tried to get a clear answer on the fruits policy and they kept putting on the location manager which is weird cuz it has to be a unified policy for all locations otherwise he should clearly says it's up to the manager.

Today I went for lunch and the lady was putting half spoons! I told her to fill the spoon she just ignored me! Very unprofessional in that location. I gave it many chances cuz my kids love to stay in the area to hang out but really not anymore. Will definitely try a different location leaving that horrible attitude and management. For sure not recommended to anyone.

Update on July 21: Salata team replied to my review to communicate with them through email. I'm not sure why, is it to delete my review or to offer something free, I'm not sure but I didn't anyways cuz I'm not writing a review to get anything in return. I really want them to take my concern into consideration. Today July 21, I went to Sugar Land TX location to get salad for dinner. Just 2 weeks ago I was able to get 4 fruits on a side. A week ago they said no only 3. Today, they said only ONE!! How many times you change the policy?!! If I put it on the salad, I get whatever I want, but on the side, it's only ONE! This is unprofessional and very unpleasant. I need an explanation and clear answer of my concern for next time.

*I dropped the stars from 🌟 🌟 to 🌟

Original review.. It seems that a lot of costumers have the same concerns as mine and Salata replies to each concern but nothing improved. Staff are rushing costumers. Every single time I go there, the staff comes up with a different rule regarding the fruit section. Very confusing and unpleasant! When I ask for a little more of certain item, staff gives me the look! I used to eat Salata at least twice a week but not anymore. I really hope you guys work serious on our comments and improve that kind...

I come here once a week. I love the fact that they serve high quality with such diverse selection of toppings to customize your salad. They’ve even remodeled the place so it’s fresh and new inside.

Since the reopening I’ve been very disappointed with the last 3 visits. I come every Friday around 5:30pm to beat the dinner rush and to get first dibs on the toppings. Figuring it was the start of dinner they should have plenty of toppings esp on a Friday the beginning of the weekend. Last time they ran out of arugula. This time they ran out of edamame and pasta. I came specifically for the edamame because I was craving it and was deeply disappointed that they had no reserves left. On top of it their croissants were tinier than usual AND they increased their prices by a $1 even though it still has the old price engraved on the wooden frame hung by the greens.

Usually the staff is full of women. Today it was all men and they gave half a spoon of the toppings. So my salad was half the size it normally is. Instead of pleasing a reoccurring customer with repeat business and be a little more generous with the servings like the women are, they rather cut corners and give smaller servings just to save money. I would hesitate going to this location. I’ve had better luck at other salatas that give more toppings and don’t run out of items at the...
