Worst place to order food from for delivery. They don't understand the concept of customer service. Brought wrong food to our house then owner started arguing over the phone.
The delivery driver was not willing to give me any information about the manager or owner. He kept on saying that my Manager owns three stores but cannot speak English which didn't make any sense. I asked him to tell his manager to call me otherwise it will not be good for their store reputation.
The owner called me and sounded like an American Born Chinese who spoke English fluently. He kept on saying that i should not have ordered it online because their website doesn't work right. Then he suggested that in future i should stop by their store to order food instead of getting it delivered because delivery can lead to mistakes. He also stated that i should have called and confirmed my order after ordering it through the website. And the worst part, he stated that in future if i order anything for delivery in future there will be mistakes because that is common. I could not believe the owner telling me all this. He didn't have the courtesy to apologize but instead he kept on arguing that it is common to make mistakes like this. Ridiculous !!! he was basically trying to tell me it was all my mistake.
He also mentioned during our conversation that their Kitchen is a mess which brings doubts in my head regarding the quality of their food !!! I am going to contact department of health.
Long story short. Avoid this place unless you ruin your food experience. Businesses like this should not exist unless they can provide quality service. They don't even understand the basic concept of "Customer is always right". Ruined the whole dinner experience for me...
Read moreStrange to not find this restaurant on Yelp. I came here last about a year ago and inadvertently wrote a review for a business with the same name in Richmond. Is this a franchise? A year ago I thought this place was OK. Today I think they do not have a chef. Ordered Happy Family and sesame chicken. Happy family sauce bland. Thin pieces of beef could not be chewed. Rubber. The 'chef' had obviously never heard of velveting. The sesame chicken had no flavor of sesame. The initial flavor was of sugar. It was so sugary that it took a good 20 seconds for chili flavoring to manage to fight its way to the front. The chicken pieces were obviously processed, 'boil in the bag' style food that companies such as fast food places buy, The brownish rice had a funky flavor I could not recognize. I hope this wasn't because the rice was left over from previous days.
I actually called to express my disgust and for a refund of at least half. My reasoning was that a comparable meal in quality from a fast food place would have cost as much.
I think what is most perturbing is that this company has obviously not employed a chef. If this 'chef' had simply bought the 'Americas Test Kitchen' DVD set, he could have cooked so much better. This level of amateurism is so disrespectful to people spending their hard...
Read moreThe service was terrible! We only ordered one appetizer and wait for other friend. The door could not close well so we asked to move to another table. The waiter said no because she thought we would only had one appetizer and we don't need much time. After our friend came and we ordered more dishes, we found eggshell in our dish although it didn't contain any egg. I'm not sure if this kind of disgusting thing happens a lot and the waitress is already used to this. The waitress we approached offered a simple "I'm sorry" and promptly left. The worst restaurant I've ever been to in Houston!
In response, the restaurant claimed they couldn't allow us to change tables because of other people waiting, a reasoning that seemed irrelevant since we weren't preventing others from sitting. Despite two empty tables, the waitress insisted, "You only had one dish, and it doesn't take much time," suggesting an unwillingness to accommodate our request. Had I known about the faulty door, I would have requested a seat away from it, but I don't think it's reasonable to expect customers to ask if the door works well first. Regarding the presence of garbage in our dish, it seems the restaurant chose to ignore the matter in their response, just like what they did in...
